I don't know if this is healthy or not but lets check the ingredients and compare. It is possible the same or similar glue is marketed in 2 different bottles to be sold for different uses. A good example is Crazy Glue and many nail glues.

Well number 1 it’s HAIR GLUE meaning it’s for your hair and not eye safe at all and should be anywhere near your face you lash hair and the hair on you head are two different types of hair with two different growth patterns. You should only use things that are designated for your face on your face

I was lucky enough to have tried this method very early on in the beginning of my lashing days. This was many years ago. I found this video because out of curiosity I wanted to see if there was anyone out there to convince me that there is a better adhesive to use even as well as it works we are always looking for better easier beauty products right.... so I'm happy to have discovered someone that feels the same way about eyelash adhesive!!

@@CrystalClues Hi Crystal! It's been awhile now and I realized some weave glue have ammonia in them. Make sure the ones you're using doesn't :) Not good close to your eyes.

Jenny C ahh thanks for the heads up! TBH, I am no chemist but so far I haven’t had any problems. It tends to ball up easily and is super easy to remove and dries fast so I keep using it 😅

This were the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. My beautician used it and my eyes got invected red. I looked stoned. we used it on singles. NEVER AGAIN. I COULD HARDLY SEE DRIVING HOME.

C B Some people are allergic to latex which could cause some issues, but if you’re not allergic to latex then this should work fine. I personally prefer actual eyelash glue because it’s hard to clean the weave glue off at times and sometimes the lash is hard to take off.

Indivisual and extension Eyelash glue is actually more harsh. It has a very strong chemical smell and it dries really hard. Strip lash glue is pretty much the same as hair weave glue.

I just read that it is not recommended because of the ammonia content. You will likely lose more lashes, unfortunately. Tempting, but I probably wouldn't. Instead, I found Super Strong Hold by Kiss ienvy in black, that lasts just as long. And its waterproof.

I have gone into the pool with lashes on using this glue and they’ve stayed in place. But I made sure to use extra glue, and with bigger globs at either ends to really reinforce them.

I don't understand how one can jump to "a lot of Black women". Of my friends, 4 are Black women, and not a single one of us attaches weaves to our heads...or wears weaves at all. Also, in 2019, aren't women of all colors wearing fake hair...and fake eyelashes?

Hi Delise - thank you for bringing this up. I reflected on your feedback and you’re right. I spoke generally and there probably wasn’t any need to specific the ethnic group. Just so you know where I was coming from, I lean towards naturally wanting to give credit where credit’s due. I heard about this from members of that community and I’m thankful it was shared with me. In the future I’ll be much more careful with my wording. Thanks for picking up on that and for taking the time to comment.

As a black woman I haven't known any non blacks to use that glue for their weaves. Non black women don't get weave applied the same way due to hair texture. Some are being too ridiculous with calling her a racist🙄.
