@@jddrawz I think you might not use headphines or dont have a decent one because, at least for me, its so different, the body shot it is a "dry punching" sound while hs is wet like drips of an exploded watermelon mixed with a "bullet in" "bullet out" sound

@@jddrawz Everyone's hearing is different. You might be tuned in to better frequencies than others.

Keep at it. It generally can take anywhere from 200 to 500 hours before you start really understanding the Hunt. Map knowledge and repositioning is king

@@theartofcompetition5965 I just think shotguns and snipers force the game into an unfun " mexican standoff" game where it comes down to who gets bored first. Trying to siege a compound without a shotgun feels like a fools gambit. Same with trying to engage a sniper team. Pretty much everytime I trade it's to someone using a shotgun.

@@ramsaybolton9151 i one million percent agree. They could totally fix this too. but they dont. They actually incentivize it by putting a million bear traps in buildings so the bounty team can just chill in the house for 30 minutes and hope the other team comes inside. The other day the bounty team sat in the house for 30 minutes and we sat outside it for 30 minutes. another day i killed a guy in duos and his teamate sat in a nearby house for 10 minutes and i sat and watched the body he emerged 10 minutes later just to get headshot by me. There are ways to unincentivize camping but they wont do it.

@@theartofcompetition5965 I think the problem goes deeper into the map design and sound system. Every possible way to move is so loud that a person not moving will be able to easily hear you and constantly cover the entrances into the bounty lair. Most of the compounds seem to be designed with less than 3 entrances into a boss lair. Add to that hanging chains...tarps and very linear " hallway" style entrances with CoD style weapon balancing ( they are only balanced around flat stats) and you end up with the classic snipers and shotguns problem. Crouching is too loud. Too many cracks to shoot out of. Not enough entrances. Snipers have too much bullet velocity now and shotguns are too easy to lock down a compound with. I would go crazy if they added some siege style destruction to wood so I could make my own entrances to breach a compound that doesn't rely on going for a lucky frag or good flash.

@@ramsaybolton9151 that would be sick if you could break down walls. the sound isnt the problem imo. that can be solved with decoy bolts. they give great sound cover. Its just simply rifles vs shotguns. its suicide to go inside with rifles. and theres not much devs can do about that besides making some big changes to game dynamics but they are afraid to do it ( i dont blame them) the house should be burning down. and they begin taking smoke damage or something that would speed things up.

When you first enter the boss lair you can melee him to his first enrage ( with knuckle knife atleast). Then at that point you just run around, maybe see if he dropped a pitchfork or medkit if you fuck up, and kite him. Hes one of the bosses you have a reason to kill properly imo. Can get tons of ammo boxes and traits.

Just use stereo all default dont go too loud for your ears
