Good info guys - a lot of you tubers are pushing expensive gear these days and theres nothing wrong with that if you have the spare money to spend. But I think it's important especially for the kids and people that are a little more squeezed like my self that you don't have too . Daiwa TD hyper v2s , samaki zings , Shimano raiders etc all get the job done . Personally i put more money into the lures and fuel to drive and hit different systems because thats what can be make or break on any given day... Johnny from my lure box pulls good jacks on a Shimano raider rod/curadk and a Sedona spin reel on his other rod 👍😉

Thanks for the info on baitcasters. I never understood what the advantages were over a spin reel, or why you would try to learn one given their learning curve is steeper than a spin. Thanks for explaining.
