The season that said it all! From amazing snow to the biggest lines we've ever seen, the 2018/19 Freeride World Tour season was one to remember. Here are the best runs from Freeride Ski Women & Men throughout the season.
Freeride is the purest form of ski and snowboard. An unaltered, natural mountainside with no set course and no clock. An international field of elite athletes all have a chance, and the best top-to-bottom run wins. It is the ultimate expression of freedom and personal style on snow-covered mountains, and the Freeride World Tour is the arena where the world’s top riders come together to determine who among them is the best.
2020 proposes one of the most exciting rider lineup FWT has ever seen, with burning hot rookies, top wild-cards, and legends defending their throne. The sport is progressing massively every season with jaw-dropping action, fed by a wave of emerging talents from the Junior (FJT) and Qualifier (FWQ) series. Fantastic to see that Freeriding is a common language spoken by a global community from Japan to Canada, including new destinations like Greece, Lebanon and Kosovo.

I’m from Revelstoke British Columbia I ski Revelstoke mountain restore and I’m 13 years old and I’ll done anything these women and guys did like I don’t find any of this impressive but it’s still dope to watch there was just some of the tricks I couldn’t do but I’ll get them next year

All these skiers do runs and stunts that I would never have dreamt of doing, but in my opinion they do it without grace and beauty. It seems as if only daring tricks can put them in the top of the list. Or am I only an old man stuck in the era when tight skis were the norm?

"best freeride lines", but markus's one is not a freeride line; it's a pure backcountry one ! Then i understand why there is more and more tricks but less and less pure freeride... Bring back linecatcher and freeride but not both in one !

That was back when they paid the men properly. Why would you compet on that silly tour for peanuts. Only famous skier competing on the fwt still is a forty year old tanner hall. It's 2021 and they made a big mistake. I haven't paid attention to the fwt since they did that.
