The phrase "ultra realistic" does not belong in any review of an EA football game. The players still float around the field like they're on hoverboards and move completely unlike a human being, what's realistic about that? This game has no physics at all and we're all mugs for giving them so much money all these years. We will never have a good football game again because EA are the scummiest, greediest company in the world. They're raking it in making this pay to win crap that we all know deep down (if we're being honest with ourselves) we're not really controlling properly. They give us the illusion of control up to a point but then decide what the final outcome will be (goal or missed shot) depending on either the script or how much money we've spent on ultimate team.

The problem with this game is EA has invested so much money in it in the past that they’re not willing to make any groundbreaking changes because of profits expectations and that is sad… Hypermotion V doesn’t even cross the ball still….. which football team in this world doesn’t cross the ball?….. Ai never cross the ball….. God this is depressing we have no good football game in the market!!!!!

On pitch gameplay of EA FC is inferior to efootball 2024 but it's the lot of content is what saves it.

I prefer FIFA/FC24 on old gen where it feels like the players are running, not iceskating. I hate this strange movement of the players, looks like they never touch the pitch.

I’ve been buying ultimate edition since 2015. Fifa 23 drive me nuts. The most scripted and utter garbage game I played in UT and pro clubs. Been playing fifa since 94 and fifa 23 made me hate the game and I promised myself I’m not buying this garbage until it’s on sale. Reading comments makes me want to skip this whole garbage of a game until next year.

I am not enjoying the game impossible to defend the players are clunky. The ref is super keen to give out cards and the rebounds of the ball again has not improved.

EA never ceases to disappoint the more mature and demanding players. Heck, even my 13 years old boy (who never really paid much attention to realism and details) is getting tired of the grotesque and persistent flaws and bugs. Personally, I would not mind paying fortunes for a good football simulator, but these series resemble more a lunatic/kook simulator. AI movements are extremely defective and robotic. AI awareness is often non-existent which absolutely ruins the gaming experience. Overall, the gameplay, players interactions and physics are dreadful. Several bizarre stuff still occurs during gameplay, due to EA's laziness and/or unwillingness to address them. The game is also (and still) highly scripted. EA's simplistic and ruinous way of increasing game difficulty is done by completely ignoring players' stats and attributes, offsetting it with pure scripting, which is another thing that completely exterminates any attempt of satisfaction and enjoyment. They invest in the easy way out (scripting) and disregard the more satisfying and sustainable (AI + Physics). Tbh, when compared to gameplay, I could not care less about cinematics, stadium atmosphere, players' interviews, and all that peripheral aspects of the game. It does add a bit to the gaming experience, but in terms of importance: gameplay is 95% and those other things 5%. These series used to be fun, until the grotesque flaws became so clear and persistent. I stop playing these in 2009 and I never regretted that decision.

EA has looked and listened to the community...ROFL....the biggest change your gonna notice in ultimate team are the menu's.....best and most realistic gameplay?...proclubs looks rejuvenated with crossplay.... So we are talking about a developer that rakes in 8 billion dollars each year, had a year to work on a game and then delivered this... I've been playing this game for a long time and if I'm not mistaken people have been asking for MAJOR changes in profclubs and career mode since FIFA 15. And yes I do believe in the categories of presentation and overall things to do...FIFA is the winner. But in my eyes all they did over the years is expand on ultimate team (cashcow) and adding minor changes to other modes. Taking in account the game will cost 70 euro's...I'll download Efootball for free if I want to play some football. Nevertheless, thanks for the effort you've put in the video, I guess to each his own... enjoy the game ;-)

Anyone else hating how slow the game play is? Or can someone explain to me why when I play Squad battles the game play is quick yet as soon as I start playing Rivals, other peoples players are all constantly faster than mine and game play is slow

The game itself is great, but ur either getting great gameplay often and win easily, or you get horrible gameplay and loose constantly. The gameplay is ridiculous if your not on the good gameplay side.. And before someone claims "just get better". This is not a skill issue I'm talking about. I'm fine loosing to better players, but when every block ends up in a rebound that goes straight in the legs of the opponent, or when you try to clear the ball, the defender instead miss the ball floor the attacker causing penalties.. or his AI is like a wall and intercept everything, blocking skills etc, but your players watch the ball pass by and opponent just run through your defenders like their not even there. The gameplay is nowhere near realism guys.. its just horrible.. I can see you have fun if you have great gameplay tho, because when I do ppl ragequit after 3-4 rapid goals. And yes, even vs better players. But thats like 1 every 7 games.. Its utterly terrible coding when they cant fix this. Seriously.. If u had these types of issues on earlier fifa, you wanna stay away from this game. Its not worth it.

I bought this game with early acces (bad idea). The gameplay with defending is extremely bad and unrealistic. The rating of players are not realistic. The women players are better than the most of the mans. It OK to put womens in Fifa(FC) but please do more realistic or make it separated with mans football. This is my last FC (Fifa) game. EA play monopoly with us.

Still seing Scotland completly disrespected in this new EA football game. As a Celtic fan I think the game is terrible. Only Brendan Rodgers and Cameron Carter Vickers look good. Why is that you ask? because they were in the English Premier League. The Entire Scottish Premiership looks horrible in terms of realistic player faces. Oh but they added Celtic Park and Ibrox this year and those Stadiums arnt even accurate compared to the English ones. This is going of watching youtube videos as Im certainly not giving EA money for this game. EA disrespects Scotland and also the PC platform with there stuttery console ports.
