If you were to buy this, I would buy a 2.5in 1TB hard drive for $50 and put it into the laptop. That way you will have lots of room to store games and other files.

@ball is life Make sure you get the correct model. I just bought one from Best Buy today. They had two 7567 models. One was $600 and the other was $750. The cheaper one had the TN panel. The more expensive one had the IPS panel. You can tell what panel it has on the technical specs on Best Buy's site.

You have the IPS screen? I got the TN screen in 2017 and still using it. All though the screen will be replaced soon with a IPS one from AU Optronics. Only downside to the machine is that the battery is swelling and did not only happen to me. Google is full of it. Have a Samsung 970 EVO Plus in it also, only thing that is not changed is the ram. I wanna go to 32GB when i'm able to.

Agreed for the 4k model I would rather go with the Sager NP8155 with its 1060 and 1080p IPS panel compared to the lousy TN panel thats on the Del 7567. The Dell 7559 has a much better panel than the newer model which just sucks. Was hoping for a 7559 with pascal but NOPE we got this.

ThumbNail go with the Dell or the Acer if you decide to go to HP I wish you luck. I was in the same boat with you and I picked the Dell and I am extremely happy with it but I can't say much about the screen as I got the 4K model. but I have been extremely satisfied with the Dell.

ThumbNail dont forget that the acer has a USB type C port (more functionality like another screen etc.). In addition to that the Acer got an IPS screen which is superior over the crappy TN panel in the Dell. The HP laptops seem to break pretty often (Didnt experience it myself but a lot of ppl say it). I got myself an Acer Aspire VX15 with the 7700hq, 1050ti, 512GB SSD and 1TB HDD and its running like a charm. :P (currently typing this comment on it.)

The Next Generation I personally don't see the difference having a 4K screen playing a game on 1080p really not much of a difference that I can notice I am comparing this to a older hp laptop that crapped out after 2 years. As of for the battery life I personally have my Dell at 75% brightness and it can comfortably run all day browsing the internet typing documents excetera if you are gaming with this laptop on battery you'll get maybe 3 hours but I don't think the 4K screen makes that big of a difference on the Dell regarding to the battery because I have heard that this laptop when it is on battery doing non-graphic demanding programs it just switches to the Intel HD graphics. but you are right about the USB type-c on the Acer I wish the Dell had that I personally do not have anything that uses USB type-c besides my phone but it would be nice if it did have it but can't complain it is a mid-range gaming laptop. but one thing I did not like about the Acer was the speakers on it I really did not like the sound of the speakers on the Acer I tried the Acer at Best Buy and I did like the laptop but the speakers threw it off for me and I do use the speakers a lot inside the laptop I was quite impressed with the speakers on the Dell as surprisingly it has quite a bit of bass.
