I think reina provides some really interesting story implications for jin. Dude has been on a mission to end the mishima bloodline for the longest(including himself). Now that reina and lars are around, jin is gonna have to rethink his worldview knowing that there are a potentially a bunch of other mishimas around the world.

Jin never wanted to kill Lars. Or even Heihachi after T4. Mishima bloodline was supposed to have devil gene which was retconned and now devil gene is attributed to Hachijos . Basically tekken team said fuck Jins entire arc we need more Mishimas to keep franchise going

@@winterfox4259 But it makes sense as Heihachi and his children don't have the gene, unless they are decedents of his wife Kazumi. Heihachi's whole story since T1 is about studying the devil gene to find a way to use it for himself. Mishima clan are villains because they are evil and power hungry, NOT because they carried the gene. Kazuya is dangerous because he's a mix of both his father's bad intentions and his mother's special power. Kazuya is the first (and technically only) true Mishima to actually be born with the devil gene his clan were looking for. Jin has it too (Kazumi's grandson), but doesn't associate with the Mishima clan. Jinpachi Mishima might be misleading because he was resurrected to have magic powers, however it's not actually the same devil gene if you look closely. No wings, no laser eye, weird stomach mouth. The Mishima clan were never responsible for devil gene, they were just looking for ways to exploit it from others. Unless Reina is connected to Kazumi, she shouldn't have a devil transformation either.

I wonder if Heihaichi had so many kids because he was looking for a special Mishima. She clearly adores Heihaichi imo, but she also has red, purple and gold electricity, and she can channel it into a blade. If anyone remembers Heihaichi was actually raising Kaz until his Devil gene awakened. He was never happy about tossing Kaz into a volcano either.

I reckon Heihachi put Reina in his will to inherit the Mishima Zaibatsu so she comes in like boom. Kazuya and Jin are both rightfully confused about what her deal is but it turns out Heihachi never tried to kill her but instead raised her to be a menace and finally had a child he could be proud of (aside from Kuma).

No no Jinpachi made a deal with a Devil and became a Devil himself but the thing (cause it was a devil) backstabbed him And drove him somewhat mad. According to Tag 2 (which not canon apparently) Jinpachi going mad is what caused heihachi to lock him up buuuut canonically we dont know. And it kind of just seemed like a power mad Heihachi did his pops dirty @@MrMooMoo088 ( Didnt mean heihachi mishima had the devil gene what i mean is that we kind of dont know the mindset of him pre devil gene)

Reina called Jin "senpai", meaning he is older than her and someone she looks up to but the word is not used as for a family member. Might not be daughter, maybe just someone who was trained by Hei. all skeptical though. But senpai is not used as an honorific for a family member ususally.

Heihachi had Kazuya to have a successor of the mishima zaibatsu Then he adopted Lee so Kazuya had a Rival to fight for the Zaibatsu Then he had Lars to make sure he doesnt posses the Devil gene inside him. So why he had Reina? Did he just didnt pull out his ding dong when doing some work?
