He was one of the best strikers of his generation, but he was always at the wrong club at the wrong time. Sure, he's not goat level like many people say, but he is definitely a legend.

They are all powerful like crazy, but I like Maradona's the best.. How he evades the countermoves of four opponent players and passes all of them! His way (and ability) include maneuvering around everybody else in a way that almost could be described as dancy.. However, the fact there's a lot of thoughtfulness underlaying his tactics. The effect of those qualities combined result is a technique that is nothing short of graceful. He gives you the feeling he could actually have dribbled four circles around each of them and STILL gotten (to) the same outcome if he would have wanted to!

They also had equal fewest goals scored against them that la Liga season - they had a good defence and goal keeper, but weak offence. But even if they were a terrible team, no other striker scored against them like Messi did. Your point is quite irrelevant.

What are you even on about my guy. Messi is one of the greats of all time but do you even know the relevance of this goal? Zizou scored a first time volley with his weak foot from the edge of the box (on a garbage pass by Carlos), to win his team the Champions league final, in a match where Madrid was mostly dominated by Leverkusen, a team which was at the very top of their game in Europe at the time (although they came second in all competitions that year). No disrespect to Messi but this is one of THE greatest goals (not just in technique, but in value) of all time.

Overrated imo, of course it was technically impressive but it's still an open goal. The techincality and aesthetics of Groud's scropion kick ve Palace are much more impressive (in my opinion the best goal of the 2010s) but there are a number of goals from that decade that are better than Zlatan's
