Back when he was with the Crows, he was worth the price of admission just to see some of the magical moments he produced. I was at Every game at Adelaide Oval when he kicked those goals of the year and it was absolutely amazing. All the best Eddie, you are a superstar.

Eddie Betts will be missed. Won most goal of the year awards of anyone in the game's history and was a true cult figure of the Adelaide club while he was there.

Eddie was the first player that really caught my attention when I started watching footy properly in 2017 after getting turned onto it the year before when I visited Australia. Hopefully he's got at least one more signature impossible goal in the tank for this weekend against the Giants. Just a shame there won't be an audience there to cheer him off the field like he deserves. An absolute walk-up Hall of Famer. Onya Eddie.
