Just a tip for everyone: attach the wheels to each other by wagon wheel and put the stabilizer on that for a motorcycle that can climb hills too

@@bradl.602and to add to that for some suspension add a cooking pot between the wooden wheel and the small wheel of your choice. Putting it on the front or back will have it act a bit different so pick the way that works for you

Where the steering stick is, put a cooking pot there instead, and then put the steering stick on top of it with the stabiliser next to the steering stick, makes it so the wheels can still go up slopes but like won't be able to fall off the steering stick

I love this, but here's another idea. Frozen meat has no friction on the ground, so stick a steering stick on top and a fan behind and you got yourself a car that's very good for drifting. Additionally, I've found that 1 fan is all it takes to make a flying machine, and since the meat is very light it works still, get a spear and some korok fronds to stabilize and you got yourself a flying machine AND car using the exact same materials, so you can just use autobuild to switch between them

Hey everyone. If your looking for some tips on how to build the double cycle shown in this video symmetrically on both sides I went through a lot of trial and error, and here’s my advice. Take out a cooking pot Zonite part (burner side up) and attach both small wheels on each side, and then put the steering stick on top. I found that having a base to attach the wheels to made attaching them symmetrically much easier than doing it by sight alone on the steering stick. I also put a stabilizer zonite part on the back to both create a seat, and to help keep the cycle steady when turning and going up hills. This will increase the auto build cost to 15, but IMO the slight cost increase is worth not having a brain aneurysm trying to assemble this bike evenly.

I should so take notes, and really study this....but I'm off to build a log truck, so then I can build .....probably just a really long log that I mount to an axle with a stabilizer and hook it my horse, so its mobile then I'll never have to look at the map again to find my horse . Genius .

Honestly I think that one of the biggest problems of TOTK is how expensive it is to build and how the battery usage scales with parts. The game wants you to build all these elaborate vehicles and contraptions, but at the same time it incentivizes you to build and use the smallest and less complex possible vehicles. That is why I never abandoned the traditional hoverbike. Anything else always felt like a waste of battery and resources.

@@Izelor yup. Except for those fans, they last a long time. So again... I better just use the hover bike. It really seems like experimentation wasn't encouraged all that much. In my experience. At the end I flew in that hover bike like for several hours of my playthrough and it was seriously boring

The big builds & crazy contraptions are meant for late game. Play the game some more. More time in the depths = more Zonaite More Zonaite = much more battery + more use of the Auto-Build ability You can fully upgrade your battery twice. Once all of the battery slots are occupied by green cells, they’ll start to gradually change blue as you continue to upgrade over, even further. That’s already a lot of battery. What makes it even better is this next part: Zonai armor set + when each piece is upgraded twice = Twice as much battery + twice as fast recharge

@@mad-hatted I did exactly that. But my battery wasn't fully upgraded until I explored the depths completely. So very late in the game. And since I needed zonaite to upgrade the battery, I was very very discouraged to use it while building. But still by the end... I just couldn't find a reason to build an elaborate contraption other than just to have some random fun like in a tik tok clip, kill some enemy in a funny way. But I never saw it as an efficient way of playing the game. Even with a big battery, building the simplest vehicles guarantees using less resources and that your vehicle will be able to fly for longer. That is just simply the case.... Why should I build something that doesn't get me as far while using more resources. In my mind, it was never a smart decision to build a big contraption, it was just something you could do to have fun if you want to, but with serious set backs every time

Also when making a cycle you need at least one "kickstand" so to speak. I do two like the video creator did. He used amber, I prefer using spikes. I also add a light on the front and a third spike for the front, below the light. Not as friendly on the ol' zonaite or batteries but it works really well.

I made a pretty damn good motorcycle with 2 small wheels in a line connected in the middle with a wooden wagon wheel longways, so the small wheels weren’t on the axel. On one side of wood wheel I have a stabilizer on the axel so it can rotate, this keeps it upright while still allowing it to angle forwards and backwards so it go up hills, and on the other side I got the steering stick NOT on the axle but glued near the bottom of the wood wheel, and typically on level-ish ground when I hop off it falls towards the steering stick and it doubles as a kickstand. Call that my Master Cycle Zero.1. For extra style points I also attach a dragon horn to the front Zonai wheel, which also gives it a far longer range before the bike despawns.

The base build is pretty amazing if you're looking for something that isn't as potentially unstable like the forbidden railing flyer! The amber kickstand is pretty creative too, I woulda tried to wedge a rock on the wheel or something 😅
