I have been using a mixture of mobile 1 synthetic oil and mobile 1 synthetic grease for some time. Its the best option I have ever used plus much cheaper. The best way I have found to mix it is to use a paint mixer on a motor drill.

I had a Wilson lube syringe come apart in my bag and make a mess, worst part was I lost most of the expensive lube. Can’t wait to get the sauce and improved syringe set up! Thanks, Billy!

This stuff is pretty legit. Stays put through a full range session, for the most part, and even smoothed out the action on my M&P

Absolutely genius my friend! As a frequent USPSA weekly competitor I’m very curious how this will hold up in my 2011s. Just placed order will be happy to come back and give feedback as I too have tested over 2 dozen different expensive oils.

Ed's red 1 part mobile 1 1 part grease 1 part transmission fluid 1 part acetone I don't know about all guns, but that's the best for AR15 100%

Hi, Just wanted to tell you this product is great. I bought the big container and the occam defense syringes. Great set. I like the way the syringes are sealed when not in use. Feel like it’ll be safe in my range bag. I have a wilson EDCx9. It’s always been smooth racking the slide, but this splitz sauce has made it even better. There’s always been a noticeable point when the center of the bottom of the slide begins to depress the disconnector. It’s the only part of the cycle that was a little less than buttery smooth. I got the lube in the mail just 3or 4 days after I ordered it (which was great) Noticed right away you were right about not pooling and leaking out like most oils. Usually after I clean my gun, I oil it a little heavier than I probably should, and it does eventually wind up at the base of the slide near the barrel after I’ve been carrying it all day- from body heat I suppose. I’ve carried this for a couple days now with the splitz lube and it hasn’t budged. Haven’t shot it yet, but hitting the range tomorrow after work, I already know it’s going to perform great, I’m looking forward to see how much is still where I put it after a range trip. I’ll post back with results.

Following up to my last post, Shot a short competition night on Tuesday. Low round count, but all the same, splitzsauce performed flawlessly. I’ve also been carrying it lubed with a split sauce for over a week now and I’ve noticed I haven’t seen a single drop of it migrate down to the dust cover of my frame where it typically would before with any other product that I used. I like to keep my 2011 a little on the west side and I would always have it run down to the bottom of the slide rails and dust cover and run out slightly. Your product doesn’t go anywhere. Really looking forward to trying it in my Galil next.

Will definitely check this out! Have been using Battleborn grease for years and it stays put like nothing I've seen no matter how hot or hard the gun is run.

There are definitely some pros to straight grease. I definitely don't recommend it on working parts or like a BCG as it can just make things sluggish when cold from the resistance. The other thing is it sticks so well that it really attracts all the debris and carbon and can kind of turn into a slurry that is actually abrasive.
@loarmistead
@loarmistead 3 ай бұрын
@@SpecTrain Can attest. I've seen straight grease get gummy at the ~500 round mark causing the BCG to require a love tap to bring it home after closing it on a fresh mag.

The Next frog lube. Just joking. Would be good to know what the drop point of the grease concoction you came up with is. Making a good product at a reasonable cost is a great thing in the firearms industry. Keep up the good work.

Awesome job man. My go to solution, of course more expensive per oz is Slip 2000 EWL 30. Like you, I never understood the thin oil being applied on BCGs. A few shots in and the oil has been thrown off. Also, when you store the gun on it's buttstock, all that thin oil runs down into the buffer tube. The Slip 2000 EWL 30 is a 30w lube that stays in place, nice and thick, but not going to paste up like grease. Really cool to see your solution too, thicker lube is the way to go for sure! Go Splitz Sauce :)

So funny.. the very second I read this comment, Project Farm tested it on a video I’m watching just now testing gun greases. Sadly your Slip 2000 did very poorly.

@@reltius2993 I’m an end user providing anecdotal experience and complementing this guy for his good work. I assume you’re referencing Project Farms video posted about 2 years ago, comparing multiple CLPs. Worth noting, he didn’t use the Slip 2000 EWL 30. He used the thinner EWL. Yes, obviously viscosity would make a difference in test results. That said, it did fine, it passed friction and corrosion tests. The point of my comment was I enjoy thicker lubes, I’d be happy to use Slip 2000 EWL 30 or this Splitz Sauce. Peace be with you.

@@ChadCooper03I have a lot of different gun oils and greases. I buy my EWL 30 in the 16 oz bottles so I can fill up smaller bottles. I usually add tungsten disulfide to my EWL 30.

@@Joe_Friday that’s awesome man. I usually get the smaller 4oz bottles, but then put them in .5 oz needle bottle applicators. Great for putting it on the BCG rails for AR15. What does that tungsten do? genuinely curious.

@@ChadCooper03 I get little oiler bottles and experiment around with different gun oils. If you have a Reddit or an email then I'll send you some links. I don't think I can send links through the comments.

The variations in “gun lube” is so minimal that I don’t think it really matters what type. I just use the cheap stuff. When my firearms need it I simply apply it. It’s personal preference.

This is 1/4 of the price of the cheap stuff and better than the premium stuff. Seems like a win/win.
