For controllers, see if you can get your hands on a Flydigi Vader 3 Pro. I like the Hall Effect sticks in that better than the GuliKit ones.

Worth noting that a lot of these handhelds come with low quality SD cards. Pick up some more reputable ones and either clone the card that comes with it, or look up a guide on a community OS. I really like all my devices that are compatible with ArkOS.

What, in your opinion, is the best handheld emulator that is at any price? Best overall?

Around this price range look at the powkiddy rgb30, the miyoo mini+, or the anbernic rg35xx series. If you want some extra grunt, I'd look at the android systems like the Retroid pocket 3+. Best high end ones are generally the AYN devices... Then probably the steam deck. lol

My problem with this is: Why would I want a 16:9 screen if It can't really go beyond N64? It would make sense to make it 4:3

I had the same 8BitDo Ultimate and meh. I like the hall sticks, but the chips inside are cheap. Bluetooth connection consistently drops out. I live by the rule that bluetooth MUST work, otherwise I'm tossing it straight in the trash. None of my PS5 controllers have this issue. But all my Xbox controllers had issues with bluetooth, both my 8bitdo controllers did as well, and even the Raikiri Pro had bluetooth problems.

Yo bro, do the PS5 controllers just work on PC? They seem like a pretty tempting buy, but I'd like to avoid having to install other software to get it working like I did with my PS3 controllers.

Trump is just a massive idiot/con-man... it's the people who think he's some kinda god and ignore all the evil that are truly scary... Biden sucks too, btw. That's only a small part of it... after traveling I realized how backwards america was. I want trains, considerate people (America is literally the most selfish place I've ever been), good food that isn't poison, walk-able cities, healthcare, infrastructure made for humans rather than cars, affordable housing, internet, etc. Oh... and no guns. I'm so sick of guns.
