Isn’t it convenient that all of the details about Paul supposedly seeing the resurrected Christ only appear in a third-party-authored book?

@@grantbartley483 Harry Potter is also not nameless; that doesn’t mean that Harry Potter wrote it. While it is believed that Luke and Acts have common authorship, the actual author is unknown.

@@jimurban5367 That's atheist propaganda . Irenæus, to name just one, confirms Luke as the author. Irenæus was the disciple of Polycarp, who was the disciple of John, so that's a good line of custody.

A dozen or so messiah nuts with Jerusalem syndrome are treated each year in Jerusalem. Paul probably saw one of those and got his messiah nuts mixed up with the legends he was confabulating.

So he was riding to Damascus and someone popped out from behind a rock and said 'I'm Jesus!' and he believed him (even though he was busy persecuting Christians) and that made him instantly blind? Yeah, right.

@@jimurban5367 Dude you seem to know nothing, Luke was Paul's travelling companion. In the second half of Acts he starts using 'we', instead of 'he' for Paul.

@@grantbartley483 Yet the seemingly miraculous Damascus Road experience is missing a first-hand account. Only an account from a “companion” who didn’t witness it and which was several decades removed.

@@jimurban5367 What so Paul telling Luke his experience is not a first-hand account? That's like saying a witness statement in a court is not a first-hand account because it was taken down by a stenographer. You're grasping at straws.

Hymensues and Philetus two young preachers whose words were as a cancer concerning the resurrection saying that it pasted already. Past means a present condition based on a past action. Is this not what the preachers of today teach not knowing we have a Daily cross to die to self that we resurrect. Mary and Martha brother died and were mad that Jesus didn’t come early enough to save the brother. Jesus called Lazarus out of the grave to life. He said I am the “feminine”resurrection in Lazarus. One must died to self then be resurrected.

There is so much wrong here. The author of Acts didn't witness Paul's conversion. And the narrative of the event is different each time, including when compared to Paul's own account of the event. There is so much wrong with this. Please stop lying to your congregation. There are good reasons to believe in the resurrection, but this isn't it.

Theoretical. Jesus wept. Paul was an apostate to actual apostles. He did not know Chist personally like they did and didn't keep the law like the church of James and Peter.
