Yummy!!! Those look terrific. I learned how to make homemade bread in 2012 and felt like Tom Hanks in Castaway when he shouted “I made FIRE!!!” When you can make bread, you feel like you are a kitchen master!!!!!

Thank you so much for making this video. I have a love-hate relationship with homemade bread. I have tried so hard over the last couple years to perfect it and I have fit miserably failed. I finally this week made some cinnamon bread that was passable, but yours looks fantastic. I will definitely try your recipe in the bonus is the cinnamon butter which I’m really excited to try. Thanks for doing instructional video instead of just throwing ingredients in a bowl as fast as you can. That’s what some of the other influencers do and it makes it so hard to really know that you could make it once they’re done.

When I was a kid growing up, my mother baked bread weekly (it was cheaper than buying loafs of bread at the store). There was nothing better than hot bread from the oven and butter after school! Thanks for the wonderful memories!!

I'll probably try this recipe. I used to make homemade bread and cimimmon rolls. I had to stop because of arthritis in my hands. I never used a mixer for any part of the making. Enjoy

My husband made bread today. He uses his own starter and no sugar, salt or butter. It is so good toasted with butter. I wish I liked cinnamon butter, but I don’t. I made your fried chicken tenders Friday for dinner and they were really good. Rave reviews from my husband and sister!

Jen, your bread recipe turned out so well! It looks really delicious & there’s nothing better than a slice of homemade bread! I have made homemade bread bread before but it’s been quite awhile since I did. Your recipe has inspired me though. I think I’ll be making some very soon. BTW have you ever made beer bread? That bread looks delicious!! I could smell it cooking in your kitchen. Lol yes i have made bread many times years ago. I made sour dough bread and Herman aka Amish Friendship Bread. You have to have a starter for both of them and feed it. Both were soooo good. You make me want to get my bread machine out. Could i make your recipe with wheat flour? Prediabetic so i have to watch what i eat.

My grandmother always used a bread machine too and it was so delicious! You probably could use wheat flour, although I have never tried it.

I make the bread also,need to try cheese bread take sharp or any kind of cheese when you flatten your dough out cover it with grated cheese I and pepper to mine also then roll it up let it rise ,then back it's awesome

I tried using my Zi on dough setting. It kneaded and took out 1st rise in bowl . It was very dry, but held together.. but it's been over half hr , got in oven with light on not rising too much yet. So we'll see. 🤷

i make home made rolls , bread , pizza crust , etc , however, i never add salt to the yeast water, salt can kill the yeast or not give a good rise , i always add my salt to the flour , and then put it in the water mix , it makes a diff , but it def looked good , and the cinn butter, yes plz !!!

You can definitely do it neither a mixer! All you have to do is knead by hand. It’s hard to mess up!

You don’t need it. Just knead by hand. Everything else you can do normally.

It just gives the bread flavor. I watch salt too & usually add a lot less when I made bread from scratch. You can try 1/2t or 1t and adjust to your preference from there. Spread out over the whole loaf, the sodium content still won’t be that bad
