I had to give my overall Number 1 Super Luxury Hotel, and after pulling my hair out, I decided on Soneva Kiri Koh Kood, in this Thailand Vlog Review
Ancient Siam meets privacy and ‘Intelligent Luxury’ at Soneva Kiri.
The award-winning luxury resort is located on Thailand’s fourth largest but least populated island, Koh Kood, and is surrounded by lush, tropical rainforest and white beaches.
The resort can be reached by a short 70 minute flight on the resort’s private plane direct from Suvarnabhumi Airport, or alternatively by domestic flight from Bangkok to Trat followed by a short boat ride to Koh Kood.
Arrival Experience and Airport Greeters
The Soneva experience begins as you disembark at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi International Airport (SVB).
You will be greeted by Soneva Kiri’s private airport representative at the gate, escorted through immigration and checked in at the Soneva Kiri Counter.
After a 90 minute flight to Koh Mai Si (MSI) private airport island, you will be taken by a luxury speed boat to the resort’s jetty where the team will welcome you.
Guests get their personal butler (called Mr. or Ms. Friday), who will take care of you the second you step on the resort's private airport island runway (just minutes away by speed boat) till you depart the resort.
There is so much to enjoy at this property, leave your shoes at home there's no need for them 'no news no shoes' motto and 'slow life' mantra is authentic.
The resort offers an unrivalled combination of luxury, environmentally friendly design and unforgettable, authentic Thai experiences.
Twenty-four of the largest resort villas in the world and eleven private residences, are vast in scale.
