The Best HyperX Quadcast Setting for OBS Studio (2022 Edition) It's been a while since I made a HyperX Quadcast video for OBS Studio! It sounds really good in stream and on recording! This (2022 edition) setting reminds of the one I made a year ago in OBS Studio! So hopefully we can have improved it a bit! HyperX Quadcast is such a nice microphone. The microphone is stylish, streams friendly and easy to deal with. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants a nice mic! HyperX Quadcast the best mic!

Thank you so much. I've always struggled with audio stuff but after following your steps now my voice sounds much clearer and no background sounds picked up including my desk fan. I don't think my audio has ever been set up so professionally before. Now I can get back to making videos again and thanks to you they will go up a few notches in sound quality at least. Cannot thank you enough.

Bro it's impossible to put in words how well this works. I went from having massive echo and keyboard typing and mouse clicking and hearing everything from the next country over to literally nothing if I'm not talking and it only gets my voice. Thank you!

Thank you for showing me this, I’ll be sure to get those settings up and running as soon as my boom arm get delivered. Honestly I’ve been trying to make gameplay videos and honestly I just didn’t like the way how I sound from them. So I’m hoping with this setting and the boom arm I’ll be able to make it sound good quality. Also thank you for showing this.

THANKS, Love the settings for the HyperX Quadcast you have, Makes the QuadCast sound much more like a studio mic. Though just to keep in mind, all microphones are different, and one HyperX Quadcast may sound a tad different from others but you managed to keep a general tuning that makes it sound Great! Keep up the good work :)

amazing cant thank you enough, regretted buying the quadcast for about 2 months now and with these settings its amazing picks up audio easier but doesn't allow it to get too loud.

Dude you helped alot. I never knew that there was a mic level in the settings so it was stuck at 53 the whole time. Every time I record it would be hard to hear me talk normally but when it comes to talking loud you can hear me perfectly. So Now I hear myself perfectly fine without a loud voice to bother my brothers in a game. Big thanks love the video.

Hey, thank you for the video. Would you have or anyone some tips for the mic settings not to collect "breathing in" sound when speaking? I know it's also a problem of the way I'm speaking and taking breath, but I believe the mic is still to sensitive or in wrong position (I have it around 15-25 cm, below mouth, speaking over it). It might not be a problem for streams or work talks, but recorded content sounds bad with those breaths in. :/

I messed with the limiter and set it to -10 and got my dream sound. I had to tweak my settings but this is very good 👍🏾

I have a question, I have never used obs before so I would like to know, does obs apply the settings to the mic during gaming and current time you are using it or is it just an editing software to make your mic sound better in videos?

Thanks för your comment :) The settings apply when OBS Studio starts. But they only work in OBS Studio. Sound settings are only for OBS Studio. :)

Just curious. I use NVIDIA Broadcast sound suppression software. I assume I wouldn't also use the Noise Suppression filter in OBS? Seems it might make the mic too quiet? Thanks!

What you can do is test yourself to see what will be best for you. Example record your voice and see how it turns out :)

If you have a HyperX Quadcast, you will have better sound in Discord than headsets. In Discord, you can change a few things, but nothing that improves your sound directly. Have a video showing what I have in Discord. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/btx0qpdms83JiJs.html

What you can try to change is the actual sensitivity of your microphone. my approach doesn't work for everyone. sometimes you have to fix things yourself. change in obs when your microphone should transmit / be off :) Hope you understand what I mean. :)

The problem is that it all depends on the game. you usually can't get the sound to be "better"! If you have OBS Studio, you can do a lot but not exactly what you want. The microphone in say is much better compared to a normal headset microphone. :)

One thing you can do to find out if you are getting enough sound. Record yourself or check if you get the sound you want. If you don't get enough sound, you can raise it. If it's too much lower the volume. :)

I can recommend using a "boom arm". Without a boom arm, there is a risk that the microphone will pick up more sound from your mouse and keyboard. Tip: Try tweaking the settings a bit so they suit you and your situation better. :D

have this problem with my microphone too. Never quite got it quite right. the only time i got it removed was with the plug-in. But they were hard to set up. :)

Can it be as simple as having 2 things that record your sound when you stream? Your microphone and example your webcam may pick up the sound from your voice? Is it only when you streaming? :)

You unfortunately have to install some sort of plugins in obs studio. To get your base up. If you google a little, I promise you that you will find something that you like. :)

I had a little problem with this. That the microphone did not pick up my laughter or certain sounds. But fixed this by testing lots of settings! Not all settings work 100% at all. Sometimes you have to fix and trick a little yourself. Hope you fix the problem :D

I remove my background sounds through noise gate. It doesn't open right away only when it's a certain level. :)

If you did as the video says, it should not be a problem. Test around a bit and check so everything looks as it should. Maybe test someone else's setting? :)

My HyperX Quadcast S works in every other situation/program just fine. But within ten seconds of me being live [[OBS]], the Microphone will stop working. If I unplug and replug the microphone, it'll function for a couple seconds, but the audio will pop and static, before completely failing to input audio. Checking my Windows Sound Settings shows the Microphone just... dies. The RGB lighting still works, the mute function still works, the Mic is still being detected in Windows, just it isn't inputting audio.

@@MaDRocK_Gaming i got a new on Problem is sadly still there only thing i can think of is that the Power Supply Needs more power i have a 400w in my PC RN with a RTX3060 so i shall just upgrade my PowerSupply and see if it helps :>

I also bought the PC ready-made because I wanted A PC LOL so i never looked up what power supply it has! xD I was going to take the GPU out anyway and building a new one [so get everything except the GPU Because I would use the RTX3060] But since I don't know that much about PCs I haven't started yet because I don't know what motherboards would be good and all that but i was Planing to get a "AMD Ryzen 7" and also i didn have the time and didn know how much money i would need ;-;
