They are 3 more really useful ones: L- To play your project at 10x because we all know how much we spend previewing our work, this makes it faster since you don't need to watch it in real time Q- This automatically ripple deletes a clip but make sure you place it in the middle of the clip as it only cuts before the clip W- Same thing as Q but ahead instead of before

good comment and thanks for the tip. Let's add... J - to play the project BACKWARDS (rewind), the opposite use of the L shortcut key. K to stop the playback after hitting either J or L

Great tutorial as always! (I feel like that isn't even needed to be said anymore) I have changed some of my keyboard shortcuts, the ones I use the most. Like ripple delete, instead of shift+del I have only one key for that, since I use it so much I felt like it was easier to just push one button. So that is possible for people, if they want to customize their shortcuts instead of having the default set up.

I wish I knew about ripple delete a long time ago 😭😭 the amount of time I waste having to shift the clips to close the gap. Especially when working with large compositions This video was super helpful ❤️❤️

I considered it but it's all the same except CMD for Ctrl and optn instead of alt. I think Mac users are probably used to substituting those two keys by now

You forgot the Shift + left / right, which is to skip 5 frames, and also, the alt + shift + left / right when dragging clips

Thanks for this input. What does this do "the alt + shift + left / right when dragging clips" - I tried it, but I am stuck on the purpose of it. Also, do I hit all 3 at the same time (which seems difficult to also drag at the same time): alt + shit + left arrow (for example)? Thanks in advance.

Use "Q" to quickly ripple cut to the left of the playhead on the current selected. Use "W" to quickly ripple to the right of the playhead on the current selected section. This will save you tons of time.

Hey mate could you also tell how to center a clip in the center of playhead? My goal is to center a 3rd clip at center above the start and end of 2 clips. Is there a precise way and shortcut for this?

select the clip you want to center and hold down alt then use the arrow keys to move one frame at a time until it’s centered, there’s no shortcut for it to my knowledge
