Luka has stated that playing in the NBA is easier than playing in the Euro leagues. That means, as we can plainly see, that the current NBA is soft, and the rules are completely lax. I would like to see what Bird would do in today's league. That would be scary...

He sais that bc of the 3 sec max defensive rule in the paint.. Not bc the league is soft. If the same rule existed in the 80s, the scoring would have been much higher too

It's wild that he arugably already topped that 60-20-10 game with his 73-10 on 91 TS%. As far as comparison, they do have a lot in common. Really big, strong guys that can control the game as a playmaker or scorer. Elite rebounders for position. Trash talking, play their best in the biggest moments. Make teammates better. True 3 level scorers with the deepest bags of their era. Bird was a better defender, especially before his injuries. Luka is a better ball handler. They have more in common than they have differences.

Luka came in the league in 2018 ...he showed a lot of promise. Hes a good player no doubt but he lacks in those certain areas where Bird excelled. The leadership ....how to make your teammates better....& the sheer strength or force of will ....to go after a championship & get it! Those things seem to be absent. To call him Luka legend...like he's Larry Legend... is disrespectful to me! He's just not on Birds level!

That shows some ignorance. Luka elevates his teammates in a massive way. He is the biggest Playoff riser in the NBA by far. Competing with & even beating Elite teams in the Playoffs when his team had no business even being close. Luka is carrying terrible teams. No McHale, Parrish, DJ or Walton to help him yet. He has had a revolving door of guys that either can't stay healthy or just straight up aren't very good. Give Luka 4 HOF teammates & see what happens. He would do the same as Bird & take over every award in the NBA, including the Championship.
