There's a lot of sets that lego could release for Episode 2. Some I would love to see updated versions of the Zam Wessal Air Speeder chase and Jango Fett's Slave 1.

Hot take, but I think Darth Malak looks much more accurate to the source material than Darth Revan. The torso and color scheme of Lego Revan involves too much red, but is still pretty cool. Although frankly, is likely overly sought after just because it is Darth Freaking Revan.

I don’t think Revan is overly sought after, he was a May the 4th special polybag and it is Darth Freaking Revan (like you said), so I think it has plenty reason to be as sought after as it is. Also, this is just my personal opinion but I think the design Lego used is Revan’s coolest look.

@@merkabah9956I agree as I own lego darth revan and he is a really sick minifig overall. He is worth used around 250 now and climbing so I think malak will be 100+ after a few years.

Darth Revan was from 2014, malak is from 2024. If they do decide to make a new one, he should also feature the new cape and new hood.

@@skillzjr3152 imo, they prob won’t make another one due to how sought after he is. Also if they put darth malak, an old republic fig, in the 25th anniversary line (which they said is for figs who don’t fit in sets) then they prob won’t make many old republic sets/figs.

Darth Malgus was released in 2012 in the Fury Class Interceptor. Not 2013.

What about 2012 Queen Amidala? It is quite a unique figure. And the 2016 Ahsoka Tano is also great.

Judging by the value Darth Malgus and Darth Revan go for nowadays, Darth Malak's monetary value is going to be pretty substantial in the future. Not to mention the paywall he's attached to... no Sith starfighter or polybag this time.

For 2018 Lando is definitely great but for me the best was Mimban stormtrooper, camo on him looks really nice, cloth peace was something very uniqe along side with the helmet mold that wasn't accually that oversized comparing to the new stormtroopers helmets, I really like when lego makes some troopers with camuflage like mimban stormtrooper, 41st scout and rebel commando from 2015 or environmental units like sand troopers, And yeah i agree that for 2014 the best was Kashyyyk scout trooper :D

The 1999 Darth Maul isn't actually isn't the same as one they made in 2007, the head print for the eyes is actually new and the torso design is done in grey instead white. They look very similar but if you look at them side by side you can see what I mean. Not sure why bricklink/brickset consider them the same!

Good video but you should mention the runner ups for each year. Not only is it more interesting to watch that way, but it helps give off some more perspective on the year, especially since you didn’t even mention some amazing figs like Wolffe, Dooku (2013), Revan, Mimban Stormtrooper, etc.

I remember being let down by the Jedi Defender-class Cruiser not coming with any named characters just random jedi. After the Striker-class Starfighter and the Fury-class Interceptor coming with Jace, Satale, Malgus, I was hoping for Nadia Grell, Kira Carsen or some other named companion characters who travel with the jedi knight/consular on the ship in game.

Gar Saxon easily beats Crosshair in 2021, as he looks incomplete with the range finder (even though he thankfully has no helmet holes) and a new mold might have also benefited him.

Great video, but imo the scout trooper from 2014 has a really bad helmet print. That visor is way too high! Would have gona with the 212th airborne trooper instead!

I got that set as a christmas gift when I was 10. Unfortunately, I was careless with my legos back then, and I lost a lot of figures/sets like all my indiana jones sets and a couple of my Star Wars ones. With the frigate, the ship was in pieces but all there, but the only figure I could find was the Wolfe pack trooper which I later sold for $75. Kept the ship, but losing the commander Wolfe and Eeth Koth really sucked. One of my biggest regrets to this day

I was kinda disappointed you went with the wrong Darth Maul in 1999. The minifig from 1999 is far superior to its later iteration because it did not have normal yellow eyes. Instead it had movie accurate Sith eyes with red and yellow mixed into it. Looked so amazing to me as a kid, even now it’s the best Darth Maul minifig.

That face print had an extreme amount of variation between releases of even the same set, particularly in the color of the eyes (as you mentioned) and the height of the print itself.
