Everybody is talking about how long it would take to set up but I don't think that anybody has realized that he is pulling in the string with the drill meaning that it would just lift the spoon out of the pot.

@@Angelpower07 the spoon is vertical but the string spins horizontally. Imagine of the drill had a piece of string 5cm long tied to the spoon. The result would be it going up and down.

@@flamexc To add to this, you can clearly see the string is not even rotating after a few turns. Also, even if there was some rotation, because it is spinning in a single direction the string would twist in on itself, (at a certain point, rather than the fibres of the string twisting, the string itself twists). This would cause the string to contract and still, the spoon would come out of the pot. Also, the string would have to be spinning at an insane rpm to stir with the spoon as its mass is so close to its rotational axis and is quite lightweight.
