The Lightning storm druid build is SOO0oooO0o strong in season 4 of d4!!
Diablo 4 Season 4 features some of the best changes i have seen to this day. They are completely remaking the loot system and itemization from the ground up. I will be playing d4 s4 as much as i can. Im ready to be hurt again.

Yes the werenado which I doing atm using the damage to close . But it applies to damage to distance to distance also. Might give this build a try. Since I have a lot of the gear already

Hello, are you sure the electrocution glyph buffs lightning storm damage? I was under the impression that it only increased damage for lighting bolt and dancing bolts which are some of the aspects you can add.

This will be my second build. Current lol 40....something lol. Great work. Might do the variation in did last season though. Uses ultimate spec that stuns :) so good of a video though sick work bro

I'm enjoying and building stormslide. Using earthbreaker ring landslides to proc lighting Strom insanely fast. It takes good gear though but IV cleared tier 90 and most of my gear is rank 4. I'm still trying to get the build figured out but fusing my lighting storm druid and landslide druid made him stronger than either one on its own.

This is one of the best builds for events and dungeons (which is everything this season is based around) and the first one I made this season. With pets now its far less annoying to have to walk around picking up loot after you one-shot an entire room of enemies.

Two things: holy bolt is kind of cheat code for any build so I’d show what it can do without it. 2nd: once you have channeled to full power try tapping after for quicker elite and boss kills

Haha i actually have an entire series of videos without holy bolts for that reason. ALSO, what you cant see is that im spamming the piss out of the button - i just have a WILD amount of resource gen from TR and a few things so it looks like im not.

if you dont have your companion passive active with 3x 15% crit chance + 3x 15% crit damage then it is okay to spam clicks, otherwise it is FAR better to hold down the channel since the passive applies to all lightning storms during your channel, not only your first lightning storm

I have played this build every season. This season has been the best because of the new ring i have to say, but I would make a lot of changes. I checked out your link and it seems that you have already found a lot of those changes. One major thing I see tho is to use the aspec that gives you an extra companion. 3 x 20 is 60% and that can stack off your ring and moved the dancing bolts to your neckless for more dmg on that as well. Another thing is Tibault's Will for the pants slot is a great way to stack bonus dmg as well is get spirt back when using trample. Your Paragon board looks great, and the boots you use in your link are good. I use 5 uniques on this build but have only been able to push to pit level 96 mostly because of boss tho. This build is great for flying through the start but lacks that single target dmg, and if the boss has no adds you will become spirt starved and have to just run around sometimes. But overall great guide but I would recommended for people to check your link as you have made many changes to your skill board.

I'm new and level 30 using a lightning storm druid currently. Might respec back to wolf stuff after the patch drops today and start spreading rabies. I'm wondering why lightning storm does not do the proper damage the tooltip shows? Mine shows 500 damage per strike on the tooltip for lightning storm, but it does like 250-300 on the practice dummy per strike.

From what i've read, Fulminate is for lightning storm and Electrocution is for the Lightning Dancer's aspect. I don't think Electrocution scales lightning storm. Can you confirm?

@@Poolnoodlex Yeah it's weird that Electrocution is so specific. I have one less glyph in my paragon since I haven't respec'd for optimization but I have electrocute and fulminate slotted for most content. For bossing I often switch Lightning Dancer aspect for either Changelings Debt, Retaliation or Inner Calm (still trying to figure out which works best) and slot in the Werewolf Sigil. My Lighting strikes usually hit for over a million even with poor timing on shape changes (and duration) and not paying attention to various stacks (ie Im missing out on damage all the time). I planned on going weretornado but I am really having a ton of fun with LS and never run out of resources. Bosses like Duriel die in a few seconds. I need to try a NM 100 and see how it goes (i've been farming in the 75-79 range) and then hit the pit and what I can get to.

Is it? I was wrecking nmds, helltide, pit mobs, everything, regular bosses, but nmd 100 bosses and pit 50+ were slow. I switched to wolfnado which I never played before, seems to be similar clear damage/speed, but with significantly better boss damage.

Honestly i get it. it took me a long time to understand how to get around that site and its still pretty vague to me. Thats why i make videos. Let me know if you have questions about the build - i would go with mine instead to be honest. its easier to follow for general players.

I cleared a t61 with a very similar build. instead of werebear skills I'm using dire werewolf grizzly rage and blood howl though. it can be viable

i watch 10 minutes and then see that your showcase is t31 pit with holy bolts..... wow 😅😅 it's not that bad but maybe show the gameplay at the start so ppl don't feel baited. The BEST lightning storm is far from that. I checked for inspiration and now have seen a way weaker version of mine >.

@@Poolnoodlex in the codex you have to goto a dungeon to get calm breeze aspect, once you have it put it on amulet forever it gives a stacking poison from wind sheer Then put moonrise on your focus and temper wind sheer has chance to double cast, equip butchers cleaver for extra cc, adaptability on a ring, basic attacks gain attack speed on other ring. And build for attack speed lucky hit damage over time. You smoke bosses in seconds.
