A napkin, A NAPKIN! I can't believe I spent an hour this morning trying to find this paper!! This has got to be one of the most clever ways of making your own paper I have ever seen. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. You are fabulous, awesome and so stinkin' cute. Can't wait to get started.

I learn something new every time I tune in which in my case is daily.

Here's what I love about this technique: I live in a motorhome. I dont have space for my old scrapbook paper drawer. But i DO have space for a pack or 2 of plain paper. Napkins can be compacted, and I can USE the extras. Sweet!!!! Sweet sweet!

Who would have thunk it??? Ingenious idea! I've made napkin cards but just adhered the napkin to a piece of cardstock to stick on the front. Just never dawned on me to do an entire sheet, and I was thinking at first, hum... I don't have any 12x12 white or cream cardstock, but then alas! you say to adhere it to the back side of one sided papers, which I have a TON of! So many possibilities now! And Tuesday Morning has the most gorgeous napkins too.. I have a couple but I'll be headed that way soon (though it's 50 miles away)!!

Oh my...I love and grab napkins all the time for use in my mixed media and decoupage. Now if I can’t find the right/perfect paper I can make my own. Wow!

Where I live it is easier to find napkins than it is to find fancy papers. Plus, I can buy cardstock in big sheets at Dollar Tree for $1.25, then cut them to size and use them for many things... this gives me a great way of making truly unique papers for the projects I make. I'm also thinking of using pieces of "Fat quarter" pre-cuts the same way. They are a bit larger than 12x12 but they can be cut to that size and glued the same way to cardstock. Brilliant!

Dear Sherry...... I never would guessed .......till you showed the napkins.......genius. Once again you have taken an item that is so easy to find and create a custom craft item. No more searching.....no more disappointment in not finding...... I can create unlimited sheets of paper......... Just imagine this......a group of crafters each buy one pack and do a napkin swap. I could not find any napkins I was happy with so I used the next best thing.....Tissue Paper! Worked like a charm!

Oh, Sherry! In my 40 yrs of crafting this is the best technique, I have ever seen! WOW! I have a very large collection of Georgius napkins I use for decoupage and never thought of this and right in front of me this whole time. I always wished I could find these napkins in scrapbook paper and now I can. Georgius! TYFS, Donna, in California. Off to the races, lol. P.S. Costly lesson learned so wanted to share... I have ruined a cutting mat by using my iron on it, it was badly warped. It is now used to coffee dye my papers.

Those white sheets you peeled off the napkins, you can use your stamp pad and stamp on those for other crafts projects like tags.
