Which mall in Nairobi has everything you need for a family day out?
There are so many great malls to choose form in Nairobi, but Village Market in Gigiri is in our opinion the best for a day with the family.
With so many awesome shops to choose from, dozens of amazing restaurants, a state of the art gym, bowling alley, kids playground, bars and two of our favourite hotels in Nairobi right next door, we really believe that village market can't be beaten. Do you agree?

Nairobi's so posh nowadays! Looks world class! Not that I've been to london in a very long time now, but Nairobi seems like it's caught up in the high end of the market. Nice work boys and girls!

You pronounced it right Adam. Jiko is basically an African stove fueled by charcoal. The trick to pronouncing Kiswahili words is to read it as it is and not as English. Kiswahili is 100% phonetic language something akin to Spanish and other Romance languages. Village Market is a unique mall that has survived the times since 1995 when it opened, and yes it's got it all.

So disappointed that you are not several times more popular. Your holidays/trips are what normal families with young children and finite budget can realistically do and enjoy, unlike the over-the-top first class flights/presidential suites type of holidays most travel youtubers try to show off. Hello The next family, wanted to know how you get to be allowed to film some places, like village market and other malls. Do you seek permission well in advance? This is bcoz i have seen other you tubers being refused to film some areas like two rivers mall. Your insight and advise will help in growing content creation in kenya. Many thanks for the good job you guys are doing. Keep up!

This is actually quite simple. Malls will not let you film without permission for security reasons. Creators should always apply for permission from the management before filming. This of course is simpler when working/collaborating with one of the businesses within the mall, so I'm not sure they would grant permission otherwise, but we never film in malls without permission.
