People that are complaining about the lack of polish on some of these tracks: Remember when MKWii Custom Tracks started? Remember all of the flat, boring, bland tracks? Now, eight years on, we have classics like Cortex Castle and Marble Towers. These tracks, although being amazing already, are going to grow and improve too. Soon, Mario Kart 8 modding will be just as strong as Wii. If DS Rainbow Road is this amazing now, it will be mind blowing in a few years. Just give it time! Also, congrats on 100k, Troy :p!

Civixs Games. I don’t know how much I would like that because it has the same problem a Melee remake would have in that they patch a lot of the great shortcuts. But I still think it would be awesome

Nah, MKDD is the Melee of mario kart. Very technical and execution heavy. MKWii is more like Project M to me. A bit less technical but with more features

I always thought MKDS Rainbow Road would be perfect for a retro track in MK8 due to the loop de loop/corkscrew fitting well into anti gravity... hopefully we get to see it soon in Mario Kart.

When you said you were saving the best for last, you sure weren't lying! I was most impressed by DS Rainbow Road, because that track seems retrospectively made for MK8. I just hope it gets a little smoothed out by release because it seemed a bit bumpy. I was also really impressed by Volcanic Cave. __Really impressed.__ I just think it needs to be longer because it's basically a figure eight and I don't want another Baby Park.

On shroom ridge all the blue boost panels are supposed to be glider ramps. Wexos and Atlas mentioned in their video that some of the trucks weren't working properly. So that shortcut at the end is most likely possible if the truck is positioned right.

You got from 68k to 100k fast. It is amazing how you returned to KZfaq and still have an active fan base. Not a lot of you tubers can do that. You could get to 150k by the end of the year. I have been around since 2013. This was the first channel I ever watched and it is still my favorite. Mkwii would not still be alive if it weren't for you. Thanks.

DS was my first Mario kart game and I love it so much, seeing the rainbow road recreated is so satisfying! It’s to this day my favorite, none of the subsequent ones have made me react like I did the first time I played that. The entire concept of a corkscrew going through a loop, my little kid mind was blown.

That DS Rainbow Road remake is the best Mario Kart 8 custom track I've seen so far. I like how it seems to use original textures and the original textures still look close to official quality. The loops are also perfect for Mario Kart 8's anti-gravity. Also, I agree that the gliding isn't as fun in Mario Kart 8 as in Mario Kart 7. It's because you have less freedom with your movement, you can't move as much in the air as in MK7.

Everything about Mariokart Wii was perfect. Character roster, The fact that they divide the vehicles into their weight classes, no gliders and no wheels, licenses, CTGP, Karts and Bikes, wheelie, best shortcuts ever and yeah!

They should put a seizure warning for the rainbow road one, because that loop is dangerous for your eyes bruh. Or at least pull the camera back so you dont look directly downwards at the track.
