Thank you Josh. Every time I feel the pain and anxiety of separation I turn to your videos for inspiration and encouragement. I am becoming less anxious, less stressed and now letting go of my wife, as hard as it is.

We just passed the 1 month mark of our separation. Struggling so hard to let her go, I have moments of strength followed by self sabotaging actions on my part. Thank you Josh for these videos, I keep watching to hold it together. Just want this anxiety tearing me up to stop…

Be patient. Be consistent. The pain goes away after awhile but you will need to put in some solid work on yourself mentally, physically and spiritually. I believe I am on the other side of the darkest part of my life. In time you will be here too.

Keep working on you brother. Emotions are hard to process and so is not feeling enough without her. But you are enough. When you let go of needing her, she will reach out to you. Thats how this stuff works. Or you know don’t need her anymore when you don’t care if she does or not. But still wish her the best because you filled yourself up with love and self worth.

It’s so true. I noticed there is a true balance. I ran away from letting her feel that she needed to get away but the one day I did I think made a whole turn around in our marriage. I thought that understand how she felt about divorce would make her think I agree with it rather than she just wanted to felt understood. I’m happy to say recently she let me know she’s holding off on divorce and hadn’t even completed the paperwork and told me she wants to give us a chance. We are now having family trips dinner and even starting to spend some time together. Yesterday I asked her if she wanted to get to know each other all over again and reset and she said yes.

Your advice is sound. Thank you so much for investing so much passion into this work. I keep thinking about all the children in these families who's parents are able to reach this new zone in their lives, how utterly positive that is. This goes way beyond just the nuclear family in terms of the ripple effect your having with these men. Very inspiring stuff.

I'm trying so hard to follow your videos and it is working. I fell far from my ideal self. I am now better than I ever was and I watch your videos in my time of weakness. I don't need anything other than to be proud of myself and love myself

John, letting go takes time. Keep focussed on your frame, your quest for self realization and you will discover that we actually never needed our wives…and if anything, they need us.

Same here, man. My wife literally feels she has to choose between them and me (they're manipulating), even though I've never made that demand. Her family is a piss poor influence, and they're all trauma bonded and have overshared their relational issues. My wife relays that's not a problem, but in reality, it always has been. Honestly thinking about walking away.

Question. My wife's "boyfriend" wants to speak with me on the phone. I was a bit reluctant but now I'm sure I should because I now know what I will say to him in peace and love and I know I will tell him exactly what I told her that I love her will fight for marriage, and I desire and want her but do not need her. Is this a good and right approach to this conflict?

Just keep in mind the "want her but not need her" is an internal switch, it's not something you should physically say to her.

Depends on the woman. Some women would see that as you being needy, some would view it as you expressing love for them.

It depends on your intetion. Are you doing it in fear to let her know how much you care? Or do you genuinely just want to share your day and catch up?

@@marriagereset She’s a stay at home wife and just want to share my day and listen to her about how her day is going. Yes I care about her. Married 39 yrs. I do Watch your videos and have learned some excellent tips. I believe they have helped reignite our communication and commitment to each other with genuineness. Thank you for your content.

Just because your licensed doesn’t mean you’re correct I know plenty of licensed aircraft mechanics who dont give you good advice on on performing aircraft maintenance you are one of those people but in therapy
