3 eggs perfectly scrambled in 3 minutes. Healthy, hearty breakfast bowl. No faffing with pans and cuts down on washing up.

You forgot the last crucial step: sprinkling on the sharp cheddar cheese. Very important.

It is absolutely important! But I didn't forget it, I just didn't get around to putting it on camera 😉Cheesy eggs don't sound quite right, I know, but they are such a good combo!

I’ve always used this method,… it’s great! The only thing I do differently is add less milk with a little bit of butter as well as salt and pepper,… and I also turn the microwave down to 3/4 power and stir well every 30 seconds for an even softer texture. Also turning the microwave down gives you a little more room for error.

I would set the microwave for 3 minutes to start with. That way you're not having to keep setting it. Just take them out and stir after so many seconds and then pop them back in and hit start each time. It's not like you're going to walk away.

They most certainly do, and there is less to wash up too! We all know how much it sucks trying to clean a pan after you've made scrambled eggs, regardless of how long you leave it to soak.

@@neilgc4943 I don't use a pan. I use a Bowl. And mash is when it's on the toast, still piping hot. No little pieces keep dropping of your fork. If you keep stirring it every minute, you lose heat and the pieces just get more and more in bits, and you lose flavour too. Try putting it on top of your toast still in one piece and slightly mash it, then Taste it, and you'll see what I mean...

I've been doing this for years and its way simpler than this guy makes it seem. Beat the eggs in a bowl put them in the microwave on full power for about 2 minutes. Quick stir and then back in until firm another 30 secs. (I add milk to the mix - optional). The other + for the microwave method is you don't have to stand there stirring allowing you to get on with something else.

We have a really powerful one (no clue what whattage lol) and I only use a splash of milk. I do 50 secs stir then just 50 more secs. I played around with it the 1st two times then the 3rd I had it down pat. Thanks for posting!! 😁 All the best from Pittsburgh PA and stay safe😷

Hi! Thank you for your comments :) The amount of milk will affect cooking time/duration but it sounds like you have it al in hand. If you want nice creamy eggs then add more milk. For those who like their eggs a little firmer then use less milk or cook for longer. All the best, from merry old Blighty!

And no oil! That's a big plus. Oil isn't satiating and it's difficult for the body to use right away.
@neilgc4943
@neilgc4943 3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! Seed oils (aka Vegetable oils) are one of the worst things a person can put in their body. Exceedingly high in Linoleic acid (Omega 6) which carries a 'growth' signal to the fat cells of the body, which is why it isn't satiating. Give me saturated fat (stearic acid from animal fats and butter. etc.) any day of the week (for the record, stearic acid has an 'off' signal which stops the fat cells from growing, or more accurately, prevents them from sending out the 'I'm still hungry' signal). Food for thought indeed!
