I have a 2017 TRD sport it’s my handle picture I have the same lift kit by rough country and a 3 inch body I’m also running 35s on mine but I think I’m going to 37s after these wear out cuz they kinda look a little small on my truck , awsome video dude I love your truck reminds me of mine

Wow. 35s, no gears and can still enjoy off roading? Thats pretty awesome man. I recently installed 33's with a 2.5 inch lift in the front and 1.5 inch in the rear and I noticed very little difference. Maybe just a tad more sluggish on the acceleration but that is to be expected when increasing the tire diameter. I was on the 4.88 gears bandwagon before going to 33's and im totally over it for the time being.

I’m just going to install an Add a Leaf to the rear springs. We do mild off roading. We as well as our friends don’t need to climb rocks or jump over logs. We like taking our TRDs to places that have great fishing spots and beautiful hiking trails and scenery. We live in north central Washington state and there’s plenty of natural beauty all around us. We’re 5 miles from town on a private road and get 5-7 feet of snow every winter. We have to plow and maintain our road ourselves. My wife has to engage her Xmode on her Outback just to get up our road and into our garage. During our winter months my TRD is in 4WD most of the time. We’re 1/2 an hour from the city on good roads, but in the winter it can take twice as long. Everyone around our area put 260# of sand bags over the rear axle of their pickups for better traction in the winter. After the snow melts, all of us want to take our 4WD trucks out on the BDR trails. We’re the older folks and still want the adventure, but not wanting to destroy our trucks in the process.

Hows your gas mileage? Ive read the 6" lift is worse for offroading because it makes it more tippy but it looks soo sick lol do those rims have a negative offset?

They make Aftermarket Radio tenant monitor plug and play it’s me by Stinger it looks really nice and that’s crazy because I was looking at how to hook the iPad up in my wife’s truck I’m probably still gonna do that and not change the radio but did I tell him I’m gonna change the radio check it out it will look great in your truck 👍👍🙀👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Nice truck! I dented one of my back bumpers as well. Mine were chrome and I wanted to get rid of that, so I found bumper caps online, available in Toyota colors and purchased those. They snap right over the bumper and look stock....just a suggestion.

There’s a way to prime that thing and paint it look it up on KZfaq but I’ll find out anything I don’t know how to do it I look it up on KZfaq and there’s people that’s done it and I usually watch a couple videos if they have it and see the best way to do it

I’m about to buy Toyota Tacoma I’m not getting a 2023 probably 2019 or 2020 something I can get the six year loan on and have kind of low miles You nailed it with the look of the truck looks great I like the colors but I’m a person who likes gray the color gray you got my wife has a RAV4 that color Kinda she always bought a Nissan I said you get rid of that Nissan Some of their vehicles side is forever has more trading value it’s worth more money 10 years down the road and there’s guys on line there was a guy he put 1,000,000 miles on his Tacoma the Toyota dealership do you have him a brand new truck for his because they wanted to reverse engineer the truck there’s other people on KZfaq now doing it but I guess only the first guy got lucky 👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍

No another thing I seen this kid he worked in a body shop and people have to replace their headlights because they get the condensation they turn yellow that’s from rocks and stuff like that hitting the light and damaging the light overtime so he would use clear window tint he said like every once in a while I guess every couple years or so he’ll do it again but it keeps your headlights from getting damaged

I don’t understand why people spend $500 or more for a light bar because they just get damaged in the weather over a period of a few years and you’re just going to get a new light bar anyway because you want your truck looking good for every 👍👍

@@The_Goon3r my tacoma stock came with a rake stance(front lower than back) . When i lifted it 6" it still has the rake stance . You must have gotten adjustable fronts ?

Anyone know How do you turn traction control completely off? I have 2021 Tacoma TRD 2wd. I've tried hold the button for 10plus seconds while in park and its better but not off......If you are spinning the wheels in field or snow the engine will fall flat on its face.....any suggestions? Thanks

Maybe try holding the button while the truck Is In drive instead of In park?
