Not Hollywood, but a movie was already made in Finland. Aptly titled "The White Death". But the story had to be toned down, because producers didn't think audiences would believe it.

The book is amazing and true. Germany brought Erwin Konig out of retirement for the fight and the war just stopped while they were stocking each other, the whole war just stopped to let them have at it.
