What about the Toy Story 3 Mr. Potato Head toy? I USED to have that, but I gave it away years ago because I didn't play with it. I admit it's far from perfect. Here is a list of all of the differences I could spot between that toy and how he looks in the films: Film one's eyes go on separate holes, but that toy has both eyes in the same hole. The shoes both connect to the same hole and each other on the toy. The film one doesn't do that. The toy doesn't have a very accurate mustache. His mouth is a smiley face in that toy, while it's lips in the movie. The ears are a bit off, though I never noticed that when I still had it. I can see why the eyes are connected to each other, like the shoes. Normal Mr. Potato Head toys do that, too, so it makes sense. I never got the Toy Story Collection Mr. Potato Head, but I would not consider that a real Potato Head due to the batteries and the pieces coming off when a microphone picks up noise.

I love both version of Mr. Potato Head so much as both look great to me. I did a video review & comparison too, but TSC Potato Head got broken after that, the gear mechanic inside stop functioning. it can't move anymore although I had kept it in a good condition. Seem like it's a common problem that's why Thinkway discontinue manufacturing it.. so sad. :(

That’s the problem with TSC Mr. Potato Head.. he is very delicate and over time the heavy use can break or damage him :( I rarely use mine only display and keep the batteries out of him when not using it. I use him about 1 time a year to keep him mint over the last 10 years.

I know you've made a film accurate Mr. Potato Head. But I was wondering how close you could get while only using parts from the Toy Story 3 and Toy Story 4 Mr. Potato Head. No modding allowed, and the reason why the Toy Story Collection one won't be there is because I don't consider that a "true" potato head because it has electronics. I'd use the potato body of the TS4 (Toy Story 4) toy, along with everything else but the ears, shoes, and eyes. The ears would be from the TS3 (Toy Story 3) Potato Head because, while they're not as accurate as the Collection toy's ears, they are less flat. The shoes would be from the TS3 toy because I feel like they're a more accurate blue despite still being joined together. I don't know which eyes to go with, as both have eyelids and are separated just as much, but still connect to each other and the same hole. Why would I go with the TS4 potato body? Because it has more room for customization. I know it can be viewed as cherry-picking the best bits of each. And I know I already commented on this video not quite a day ago.

I remember when I was about 3 or 4 my mom got me a tsc mr. Potato head when he was still about $60.00 and I completely ruined it so a few years later after I moved I found his hat in my backyard and I remembed him so I look up his price and I was both crushed and shocked to see $700! and it still haunt's me today.

I literally found a way how you can like make a really really good movie accurate one So first get the toy story collection one so you notice how the eyes are kind of you know I connected but each I have like a little connector thing so if you can just like get if you have like another potato head that little like things are connected and then boom the eyes are kind of separate!

I tried and you can't sadly because the pegs are custom made for Toy Story Collection..they are shaped differently almost like an octagon on the tips compared to a regular potato head part which is perfectly round plastic at the end of it.

Sí, estoy muy triste porque la compañía de juguetes ya no fabrica este juguete. lamentablemente también es caro ahora. Desearía que la compañía pudiera traer estos juguetes de regreso, tal vez pueda intentar eventualmente traer algunos juguetes de regreso.

Hey, I’ve been thinking about getting the collection potato head little by little since he is so expensive. Could you check and see if the hat and mustache from the playskool potato head fit the collection. It can easily cost up to 80 bucks just for those parts! I am probably gonna wait out this year though, since it is the 25th anniversary of toy story. I think if they were to rerelease collection potato head, it would definitely be happening this year. Mattel is bringing back many classic characters, such as trixie and rocky Gibraltar. I really hope thinkway does the same with the collection series.

So bad news the mustache doesn’t fit I tried.... it’s shaped and designed different it won’t fit. The hat you can probably get away with but it’s not fitting perfectly.

I wish thinkway would just make new tsc mr and mrs potato heads that don’t talk and have separate eyes and feet that actually have Pixar data without the inaccuracies
