Another 13 was my first ever niche frag purchase, and to this day, it still remains as THE best fragrance i’ve ever owned. Nothing smells like it, and i get so many compliments on it, it’s insane. I just got one today, and i’d been sweating for a good hour lol. Every single time you’ve described it- spot on. It’s clean, modern, crisp, and bright. It’s also got crazy longevity. Aah, can’t sing enough praises!!

The older I get, the more I prefer "non-perfumey" fragrances (if that makes sense). Thanks to your recomendation over and over again, I picked up Clean Reserve Skin last year and it quickly became one of my favorites, if not my number one favorite fragrance to wear. Pro tip: if you spray RM5 away from your skin, the rubber tone that some people complain about (saffron) isn’t at all prominent. The closer to your skin that you apply, the more rubbery this beautiful scent feels.

Love love love! I turned up the TV volume so husband could listen when you were describing Another 13 and Arizona Bloom. He’s sooo in love with A13 and describes it as the smell of walking through a meadow. He loves catching whiffs of it throughout the day so idk if Arizona Bloom would have enough oomph for him lol. It's scent category I love. My current loves are The Musc by Essential Parfums, Tiffany & Co Intense, & Nothing but Sea and Sky by Une Nuit Nomade . Also, if I could find a bottle of Clair de Musc by Serge Lutens I would pick it up in a heart beat. I also just got a decant of Sonic Flower Room 1015 and I'm interested!

the CLEAN reserve Skin? i have a bunch of CLEAN reserves... and if you spray it once on an area it has no longevity, but if you notice, in the light, where you sprayed it, there is a bit of a shiny coating on your skin... and if you wait for it to dry and spray it again in the exact same spot, you will get a TON of longevity, like all day!! lol you're welcome xoxox

Hi beautiful Anna!! I couldn’t stand MR No 5 but surprisingly I absolutely love Mateu No1 for these hot summer days (bergamot, black tea and musk). Super clean and citrusy musk. I agree that many musks make me smell like a raccoon 🥴 I also enjoy Molecule 01 + Iris after my shower, bedtime

For me, I find the perfume underwhelming, & I struggle to smell much, it's possible that I may be a bit anosmic to it. I do however have the deodorant and it's my go to, I can smell that all day and I agree that it has a subtle sexiness :)

I recently purchased Clean Skin and Vanilla Eau Freiche, and it's such a comfort scent. I've been using it to bed. It's similar to Skin but a little warmer and fresher. My favorite musks are Lumiere Blanche (Olfactive Studio), Intime Extime, and Le Musc & la Peau (all comforting, slightly sweet, beautifully blended musks). I really want to try Santal 33, but I haven't been able to get a sample.

Le Musc & La Peau 4.1 has got some aldehydes in the note break down. What I get it is mostly a very clean musk that turns creamy with a little sweetness from the tonka and sandlewood. An out of the shower type freshness. Very good on skin. Very versatile and unisex down the middle. Truly a musk scent that does not let the aldehydes overtake it. In my opinion. Im not the biggest aldehyde supporter either.

Thank you! It's beautiful but not for me, because although it's not listed, it definitely smells like there's a prominent fig note. Very fresh, musky, ambrette, some cedar, very pretty and elegant! If you love fig and musk, I think you'd like it :)

I also dont like all musks either but some are great. I have CRS radiant Nectar its gorgeous smells like brown sugar on my skin! musk therapy is gorgeous but not for the price its too much designer smelling to my nose. some of these others sound amazing

Another amazing review, Anne! I've been on the hunt for a signature everyday fragrance for such a long time now and I keep being disappointed by purchases and salespeople ...you're literally the only person I trust now for fragrance. If you have any time, do you have any personal recommendations for someone who likes aquatics/citrusy scents - so far, I've had some luck with Jo Malone Nectarine & Honey (smells straight up like a fresh nectarine) and Blackberry and Bay (again, a very pure, true-to-life fresh, summery, fruity smell) - but I'm looking for something a little more sophisticated than blatantly fruity notes. Love florals, but every single floral fragrance I've tried on my body gives me headaches/nausea... I'm on the point of giving up and would appreciate any advice from you, Anne! I LIVE for a good, clean white musk. JHAG musc invisible was a huge disappointment. I am absolutely adoring Missing Person. I did not love Initio Musk Therapy, it was a bit too mature for me leaning toward baby powder.

I just bought the Another 13 hand and body lotion for a hefty sum but in a bid to avoid needing to sell a kidney for a bottle of the perfume. Anne, what are your thoughts on how close the lotiion is to the perfume? I'm finding it very mild...

It's very similar to Fleur Narcotique. I really loved the opening, it's an elegant, fresh, clean, bright, fruity floral, but the dry down is very musky and aldehydic. It's too soapy clean for me and becomes much more floral as it dries down and loses that hint of fruity sweetness. I don't think it's a safe blind buy and would definitely recommend sampling first!

Which one of these would you say is the closest to Kayali Musk 12? I believe they’re discontinuing that fragrance and I’m so sad about it, as I’ve always enjoyed it.

Ah Musk 12 is lovely! I find it quite similar to Clean Reserve Skin, it would be a shame if they discontinued it!

Are there any good dupes for Another 13? I love it so much and its genuinely one of my favorites but I am not at a point in my life where I could afford a full bottle of it. Please let me know if there's anything as good as Another 13 but less expensive.

I have! It's very similar to Ex Nihilo Fleur Narcotique. I really loved the opening, it's fresh, clean, bright, fruity and floral while being elegant. But the dry down is very musky and aldehydic. Anna! I'm distraught and would love your thoughts. I bought Another 13 sample direct from Le Labo..was enchanted so I bought a bottle from Saks. It smells faintly like B.O./moldy 😢 I don't get anything lovely I did from the sample..should I return or does it need to macerate? I'm really so sad because I thought this was the ONE. My signature.. I actually ordered another sample from Le Labo to compare. I'm so confused 😕 I'm starting to wonder if maybe I remember the sample wrong- or that I've been on a molecule fragrences binge and maybe I can't smell the same. I remember it being strong, metallic and clean synthetic smelling but not laundry like Juliette Has a Gun. Am I going crazy? 😂 I just ordered a sample of the 11 11..I've been enjoying the molecule perfumes lately. I also got a 10ml of Arizona Bloom, as I'd heard it was a dupe for Another 13..all I can smell on my skin is literal coconut oil? 🥥 I think my nose is broke 💔

Oh I don't know! I haven't experienced that before. We've never had to have our Another 13 macerate. It's possible that maybe your nose changed a bit or maybe something happened with that particular batch, but Saks is definitely a reliable place to purchase from. You could return it and try purchasing from somewhere else to see but I'm really not sure. Molecular fragrances can be tricky because some people go anosmic to them
