The move does more mental damage than actual damage imo. The haha and helplessness of each CH makes it hurt more than it should.

Dang near his whole character is nonsense. I rarely fight him, so I don't know what's punishable or not. He has moves that look punishable, but aren't. He has great keep out, great recovery, and great push pack. He's like noctis, but regular. It takes a lot just to open him up and get damage on him vs him being able to get damage off of almost anything.

@@dontfall2476 negan has some reliable safe moves but in general, his moves are pretty vulnerable, if They don’t play safely, be ambitious and punish with i12 or i13 even fast launchers, that will usually work

@@chingchenghanji643 that's easier said than done. I recently back into Tekken and video games in September after taking a 3 year break. Everything, including recovery, punishment, and movement is different. I just started playing rank a few weeks ago, and negan don't make logical sense, when I use him with certain characters. Right now, I'm ranking up with feng, and getting in close is difficult against negan. Not to mention dang near all his moves have good tracking.

It's only "OP" if either 1-opponent is predictable or 2- You have the same reflex as JDCR.

If only Armor Kings shove was half as good as this, shove tier list basically goes like King => Negan > Marduk >>> AK all the way at the bottom, much worse than the other 3 XD

@@misterpopo3920 negans is one frame faster (allows for more frame traps), it gives a full launch too if it trades and much better on block

@@FLampard17 that's still worse than a full launch. Trades almost never happen even with setups. And 1 F for more than double the damage is definitely better. Also negan is -6 on block I think marduk too

@@misterpopo3920 Marduks is -9 on block, also Negans has much more range, less whiff recovery, and I believe tracks a bit better. If duk shoves and you did a tiny sidestep, it's an easy launch. As you said if it lands on ch, it's the most rewarding, but it's just not as spammable as kings/negans, you have to place it well. On the other hand Marduk has db2 which is crazy good and spammable

AK's shove, too short range, and the CH confirm window is too short. Just look at negan's shove, the CH confirm window is very big.

Not sure if the window matters at all since you can literally just mash 1 and then confirm the hit and press 2. If he didn't went into INT stance then I guess we could see how strict the window is specially to do qcf1 into d3+4

You know what I hate about Negan's character model? The fact that his head doesn't follow the movement of the opponent. All other characters move their heads to track the other character. Negan just looks straight past. ANNOYING! Thanks for listening.

Let see all the broken moves he have #1 T*ts grab i14 shove safe on block give Intimidation 12 on counter hit for a knockdown/wall splat. #2 b22 homing high into heavy hitting mid both hit guarante on counter for 68 damage and is only -11 on block #3 ff32 long range knockdown wall splat -20 on block but hit confirmable. Even at max delay the 2 is still guarante and ff3 is safe on block #4 wr2 chunky knockdown +9 on block don't know about tracking but once it hit the opponent is gonna be in a bad spot. The fact that you can do shove instead of wr2 makes it even more scary And I'm pretty sure he also got a +4 wall bounce ff4 of course setting up for shove

@@anvorguesogames Every character in this game has broken moves. Even low tiers. Asuka ff3 is a homing safe mid approach tool. She also has 3 or 4 safe on block launchers like df2 and 1+2. Still a bad character. If she was dlc or popular everyone would complain but since she isn't this is okay. People need to stop this "every dlc broken" mindset

These guys in the video are getting hit by it because they're mashing to approach even tho jdcr did this same moves 5 times before, there are so many broken counter hit launchers in this game that this one is bad compared to them
