Always look forward to the new Bibles video, thanks Tim. It’s very good news that Cambridge is maintaining the longstanding tradition of a commemorative KJV for the coronation of HM The King. A couple of other new KJVs you didn’t mention-there’s an interesting new zippered compact reference KJV from Thomas Nelson due in February, and Tyndale are finally offering the KJV LASB in genuine leather, due in March. It will be interesting to see how reliable release dates are this year, especially outside the US. Nothing shipped on schedule in 2022.

Thanks for the heads-up, Tim. I'm a bit disappointed that the Cambridge Diadem will be the 1995 version instead of 2020, but pleased that the Topaz will be released in the NASB2020 as well as the new Humble Lamb offering. It's going to be a good year for new Bibles.

I’m waiting on the NKJV TCR Large Print. That has been my dream Bible and will be the one for me. I’ve always wanted that Bible so when it comes out in May I will be switching to that one for sure. The Word Study one looks interesting and the one for Sunday School. I like those types of Bibles. Thanks for all you do. I enjoy your videos. Happy New Year to you and your wife.

Cool video! I'm an NASB95 guy (although I do read from other versions from time to time), and I was wondering if the new SCR from Lockman will be in a paragraph format. I would really love that because almost every Bible that Lockman puts out is verse by verse. This is where publishers like Crossway has them beat. A paragraph format would serve them well!

The church history study Bible is absolutely awesome. Paper is kind of iffy but the content as far as study notes...wow..Calvin, Luther, spurgeon...Whitefield, Edwards,...it's like the commentary is the scholar hall of Fame...so good

I'm definitely looking forward to the CSB PSQ (the PSQ is my favorite size/layout and CSB is one of my top 3 favorite translations) and the ESV Quentel in Tuscany leather. I received an early release copy of the Olive Genuine Leather NLT Filament Thinline and the leather is actually pretty nice. The Filament app is an incredible resource of course.

A lot of fabulous Bibles coming out this year! I’m most excited to hear which translation Schuyler will choose for their next Treveris- it makes perfect sense for it to be in either the NIV or NLT. (So far the Treveris -a hybrid Reader Bible- is available in ESV and KJV.)

Not having any news of the heirlooms by Crossway makes me sad. I’d just love for the reference edition to come out in goatskin as well as a reprinting of the goatskin study bible and wide-margin.

CSV has been my go-to translation for the last 15 or so years, but am interested in picking up a NKJV. Thomas Nelson seems to have some really nice ones in a price that I can justify.

I am starting to look at many new translations and getting used or cheaper versions until I can narrow it down to my favorite. I am currently using the NKJV are my main Bible and the NLT as my reading Bible. I hope they will come out with some better NLT Bibles. thanks ..take care

Legacy standard Bible for me ❤

I'm curious to see what the new Lockman editions will offer and I'm also waiting to see what Zondervan will offer in the NKJV TCR. I'd like see the publishers offer a single column with a larger print 10.5-12 pt font. They could leave out the references, most footnotes, plus the maps and I'd be happy. Sadly, the majority of publishers keep targeting the folks with better up close vision than those of us who can still see a flea on the back of a dog at 20 yards.

Looking forward to the new Lockman SCR wide margin both in spring and fall.

Tim, in a Facebook conversation with Ian at Allan, he indicated that they hope to release an NIV Proclamation in 10-point font by mid this year. I hope it’s true.

Ones I'm really really looking forward to is the CSB single column in saddle genuine leather and the Cambridge Diadem CSB as well as the CSB PSQ..Hope Schuyler does the NLT PSQ very soon as well.. And I'm also waiting to see NLT's personal size giant print in olive green as well that you mentioned..And I'm interested in the ESV Church History one.. if I could afford it I'd get all of these 🤣

Despite being a huge schill for Crossway and the ESV, I’m absolutely hyped for TN, Lockman, and Holman bibles! Been dying for an updated CSB Single Column Personal Size and that new genuine leather is just the cherry on top!

However, I’m disappointed you didn’t include Steadfast/316 Publishing for their upcoming new Legacy Standard Bible and NASB editions. (I just ordered the Legacy large print inside column reference edition which is now available in 2023. They supposedly are coming out with a giant print LSB sometime this spring.) Thanks for all you do, and may Yah continue to bless you in 2023.

The Lockman NASB 95 editions, hopefully, the 95s will have a darker print.

Some exciting editions here, for sure. I've got to admit, however, that I'm surprised that Zondervan (and Cambridge, for that matter) has been somewhat timid with its NRSVue rollout.

I would be interested on a new arqueology bible that would include new discoveries and witnesses.

I was really hoping for a RSV PSQ but there is a lot of really cool stuff coming up!

I’m very interested in seeing the Thomas Nelson double column centre reference for the KJV that will be similar to the vintage 745 style of bibles. IF (a big if)…they get it right, then I’m sure the NKjV will follow later. Although the comfort print font style choice could pose a big challenge to replicate the actual vintage 745 - I will be looking at that one very closely. I’ve had the vintage 745 for years and it’s one of my all time sentimental fave bible so I do hope they consider their font choices very carefully for those especially for the NKjv line. Also keen on the Lockman Foundation for any of their NASB 95’s and one I’d like is their large print compact text edition. The SCR sounds great…another that I may look into is the Word Study Bible from Thomas Nelson. I do hope that the bible will contain an index properly laid out in order to find the word easily. Previously they failed to do that for the NKJv study bible where their word list in the contents pages were somewhat difficult to navigate. Wish We knew more from Allan.

What will the new CSB in 16 font look like? Look at the 2017 product. Somehow I can't get excited about a new product.

For years we have been asking the folks at R.L.Allan about reproducing the NASB95 SCR, and someone from their team replied "One day" (October 7, 2021), but there was no indication of the timeline.

Update no one knows what RL Allan will release. 😂
