It is a blueprint for the original. Too soon in my opinion. A twist with the couple actually being undercover investigators would be a good plot twist. This just seems totally the same.

@@dorcasmalahlela2805 the reason is cultural, idiot🙄 Some shit just doesn't translate, thus remakes to add or remove things so it fits its target audience. Not exactly anything to do with subtitles. Now if you said the film doesn't work due to the fact Americans are more suspicious and not polite as the Danish which is what makes the movie horrifying. They're push overs. This doesn't quite translate in the American population. Maybe few,, but definitely not most. If they were Canadian I'd believe it.

I avoid anything Blumhouse and Wes Craven. They both have no clue how to properly make a movie, the premise starts off decent then goes to complete shit by destroying the ending.
