@@abrimfulofasha Born in 2002, Gen Z. Just heard about the og a few months back. Grew up watching Alien vs Predator and many other films like that. Alien Romulus doesn't have anything different or unique which will make me watch it.

@mychess5821 it has plenty. Zero gravity with xeno blood floating around the victim. The facehugger now have barbs on their fingers to paralyse the victim. You get to see a chest burster make it's way through someomes chest. Yes it has some shots where it's obviously been taken from other films, but they're trying to please both types of fans. If you can't see this and what wonders it has in store, then I don't envy you. I have read the leaked script, and trust me, it is bonkers what happens. It only pays hamage to the other movies, but there are new elements and twists in it too. Fede alverez is a brilliant horror director who can bring a lot of suspense and tension back to the franchise. If you want to know bits about the movie, which will probably get you more excited and can state some but they're heavy spoilers. I just don't want to see someone fall out with alien just because it's has a few bumps on the way. I know you're doubtful about this one because of the hiccups, but let me reassure you that there is hope in this one for you. I promise.

@mychess5821 Also, you can't base your answer on just a trailer. You need the full details to make a statement like "it doesn't bring anything new." You have watched 2 minutes of a 2 hours movie. You can't say anything until you see it in its entirety. It's only shown you what fans want to see and not the story that unfolds. Yes it shows you homages to other films, but I read the script and there are loads of twists and turns. Also zero gravity whilst acid blood is floating about is new, and so is the scene where you see a chest burster trying to get through. The facehuggers in this also have barbs on the tips of their fingers that helps them latch on more . I can name more, but it would spoil it for you. Just trust me when I say watch the film and then come back here. I could tell you a few other things if you wanted.

Bottom line, he’s an actor, not an accountant, these things matter….
