Useful and informative video, thanks! I've made past mistakes with "nudes" but now I've found the perfect combo - a beige lip liner all over lip with something like Chanel Rouge Coco Bloom in Radiant. So many past mistakes I've tried wash me out if too brown/beige. I'm a light medium skin tone, pushing medium in summer and wear B30 in Chanel foundation. I always go with my natural lip colour for nude, just a little darker.

I thought my dual-ended Chanel lip brush was the best thing ever, but that Westman Atelier lip brush looks like it might actually might top mine. Why haven't I seen this before? And the idea of mixing all of those lip palette colors together is genius. I've done my own custom mixing of two of my own lipstick colors, usually the result of buying a color that is either too light or too dark. But four at once? You've got the mind of a true artist -- and the resulting color is beautiful and very flattering.

I really enjoyed this … my only additional information is the undertones of your lips can also change the look. Of course if you conceal your lips that gives truer color… but I was told once that you should always test a lipstick on your fingertips because it closer to how it will look on your lips 👄

🇫🇷🗼❤Happy Bastille Day Cheri!! No reason not to celebrate something French by drinking wine at lunch or wearing a Chanel lip 😃 Those Chanel glosses are so divine!! I've had my eye on a few for a while now. You have shown how nudes can be beautiful. I tend to associate them as boring, especially mattes. When I do get a matte I always have to use a gloss over. I need that "zing"!! The real stand out here tho is your eyes!! Simply perfection!! 😍💋❤

Should age have any bearing on colour choice? I will be turning 60 this year. I would say I am fair to light skin tone with pink / peach undertones. I would love to find a lipstick and lip gloss colour that I actually love.

I find it so hard to find a shade of lipstick. I have a neutral skin tone with a strong mauve lip tone. So far I think I’m better in pinks and coral. And some reds. Nothing vampy. What would you suggest other than what you showed in your tutorial.

Is there a trick for getting eyeshadow & a nude lipstick to match? I get the mute eye/bold lip, bold eye/mute lip contrast balance. But then we end up with colour of nude I thought the under stone of a nude would be something like ‘peach tone with peach, pink with pink, violet with violet’, but I see a red eyeshadow &… um… then I go blank on ideas
