There are LOTS of great sounding cars. Mustangs. Corvettes. Subies. Supras. Whatever else. I’m a diehard Mustang guy. But nothing tops these 5-cyl turbo monsters.

One of my favorite Group B rally cars ever. The most iconic and beautiful engine sounds ever heard. I hope that Polyphony will bring this amazing monster back into GT7 this year.

@@dazom, no. That's the Pikes Peak version from 1987. The other Audi Quattro rally car is from 1986. That car made it's 1st appearance in Gran Turismo 6.

Will always be my no.1 favourite sounding engine, music to my ears followed by 60's Can-Am's (any of them If i buy a lotto ticket these are what i dream of). I still remember when Group B started I was seven years old, there used to be a Saturday morning sports show my father would watch, these woke me up. I staggered out stood in front of the TV in awe (and the insane spectators parting like the sea nutters lol), same with Ari Vatanen & his Peugeot 405 Turbo 16 Pikes Peak 1988 "Climb Dance" I watch it every year (Ari was my favourite & Michèle Mouton, i had a bit of a crush on her lol). Nice compilation thanks for bringing back some childhood memories..

The blow off sound is in fact the sound of turbo flutter that happens when you don't run a blow off valve.
