32:55 the things to remember about American news audiences is: they are very easily distracted and entertained by the most simplistic shit. There’s a town in Pennsylvania called Scranton, and their news station WNEP 16 Scranton had a toy train set that ran in the background. And the people were obsessed with that thing, so much so that in the middle of major disasters and even the pandemic their biggest concern was why the train wasn’t running. Like I said: easily entertained.

I used to be a fan until they had some numpty on who criticised Jeremy Corbyn for letting the country down, a comment that went unchallenged by anyone else on the panel. Look where we are now in 2023, and tell me how it could be worse under a proper social democratic Labour Government. Privilege and money rule as ever.

Yes, they're terribly right wing, aren't they.

"How it could be worse"? Just look at Argentina, Venezuela et al. Corbyn Abbot Mcdonald et al would have made the mess we are currently in look good.
@jam-trousers2 ай бұрын
Nah it wouldn’t be worse, comparing what Corbyn would have done with Venezuela or Argentina is fatuous. What the poster is forgetting is that Corbyn thought he was brave and principled but actually he was a spineless wanker, who cosplayed as a democratic socialist but had no political nous at all. He talked the talk but just didn’t understand the game he was playing. Ian has called him out on this many many times and he deserved everything he got.
