These two are immortal not just because of their impeccable talents and timing, but because of their genuine affection for each other. You can feel the warmth and humanity seeping off them in every film, every scene, every gag. In spite of all their hardships and failures, they always stick together, keep moving, and keep smiling. They are timeless symbols of not only classic humor, but also hope and perseverance.

Laurel and hardy when I was a child would be on our TV set on a Sunday afternoon along with Tom and Jerry and The Addams Family. We would watch as a family and the tears would run down our eyes. My parents watched a lot of comedy and music shows. Happy days.

I spent my 50th birthday in Egypt. Deciding to go to Alexandria from Cairo, I decided to take the subway to the train station. On several tv screens in the station Laurel and Hardy comedies we’re playing on a loop entertaining hundreds of Egyptians and me. It was as memorable an experience as most others. 🤡🇺🇸

I think that it's because of very special men like Stan and Ollie that our world can always have the good hope to get a better place. I was born in London, England and I remember fondly watching Laurel and Hardy as a kid growing up.they would sometimes show them on British t.v amongs the carry on movies and Benny Hill and Tommy Cooper T.V shows.fond memories.I still watch Stan and Oille to this day.Them and the three stooges.I'm probably one of the few men of color that love watching these guys.

The greatest double act ever, no one has come close to these 2 legends of comedy cuz they were both as funny as each other and stan laurel wrote all the sketches bloody brilliant wish they was alive today they would have won every comedy duo awards god bless you both for giving young and old so much laughter

Being a big fan of Laurel and Hardy I wish this magnificent comedy duo had retired in 1939, before 1940 they never made a bad movie together, but sadly from 1940 onwards they never made a good one. The rot began with the 1940 movie (Saps at Sea) and culminated in 1951 with the utter flop and career-ending movie that was "Atol K/Utopia". Nonetheless, their catalogue of excellent movies prior to 1940 does them proud, and deserving of their position as one the greatest comedy duos of all time.
