The part where he just casually sang Hunting High And Low in the train was the first time I realized his voice is truly unique and beautiful.

In the song " The Blue Sky " ( from the " Hunting High & Low " 1,985 ) I hear a strong, clear & really HIgh voice of Morten. In the song " Celice " from anorher record I find him Impressive .. to say the least .. ! 👣

@darkpacey I'm flying now... amazing how a voice can reach so deep inside. He touched my chords and makes vibrate my soul with his velvet voice, just like a caress. I can't stop this goose bumps all over my skin, amazing! Thanks a lot over and over again :-)

@darkpacey many thanks for your answer..I´m a new a-ha fan,and I have to say that im proud of our brazilian neighbors as im from argentina and a-ha is not so known here like they are there,and of course they deserve all the succes they have and more.and morten is the best singer of all times for me,I´ve never listened to a better voice and im someone who listens a lot of music...regards!

at 3:40 is Bosnia Tune, poem written by Joseph Brodsky, Joseph won the Nobel Prize laureate for literature in 1987. This song is in the 2nd Morten's solo album Wild Seed. at 5 is Vuggevise (Lullaby in English) it's in the 3rd Morten's solo album whose is in Norwegian. Wow, this is great! Videos of Morten Harket actually concentrating on the talent of his amazing voice, not his looks! I appreciate this so much! It can be hard finding videos that are just about his voice without photos or videos of him looking like a pin up model or a Playgirl video. It’s great to see him being respected this way. No that's wrong! He were on a norwegian TV program, where they recorded his range, which was aprox 4 octaves ;)

I have never heard the last song, "tides shift the sand,etc " What album? And yes, he should have been an opera singer, but he was a "wild seed" way back in the beginning....the history of the band and his voice is really incredible and thought provoking.

If he had been an opera singer he would have been the best tenor of all time. The range would have been even more amazing. I've never heard that he ever had voice lessons. Does anybody know?

Had this friend who looked exactly like him.He was from South Norway too.He had a very tough upbringing but that's no excuse for acting like a complete jerk.But if your cousin reminds you about Morten, that's another story.Guess he's a beatyful person.Thing is I'm just so bored about some fans of M.H.going crazy over his bone structure.A person is the soul within.Never spoke to Morten,he's certainly got his flaws & faults like anyone else.But I think he's good at heart.Seems like a deep thinker and a sensetive person.His voice is amazing.A close friend of him once said he was the kind of guy that would save your life, but forget to ask if you'd like a cup of tea or Coffee.Sums it up pretty well lol
