Hollywood did not F with Mooney. His mouth was his gift and curse. He did things his way (Like Dave way before Dave made it cool) and he was essentially blacklisted but He's so talented he made his presence known without much mainstream support.

Yeah but the story I remember is Comedy Central offered Dave Chappelle $50M to do Season 3. But Dave Chappelle was burned out from working "20 hours a day" to create the show. Chappelle went on vacation to Africa instead of doing season 3.

Eddie Griffin also said that they start with black stars on these new networks and once they create something they cancel ur show and replace it with a show that is "community friendly".
