I was there for one day. Being from the United Staes, I thought the highlight was going to see a Mig up close. But after getting my photo sitting in the pilots seat of a TU-22 (The actual pilot took the picture) the British couple I stood in line with 90+ minutes started getting excited about the Concorde taking off soon. I didn't even know it was there. I got real close to the runway and I'll sooner forget my own birthday before the image of looking directly into the engines in afterburner as it lifted off. My RIAT'98 hat flew off while riding the hovercraft ferry back to France though. I just remembered that :)
