Today, we are sharing our incredible memories from Uluwatu, Bali. Uluwatu is an amazing coastal area of Bali with numerous activities to do.
Here’s our top tips for traveling to Uluwatu, Bali based on our experience traveling in 2024:
1. Visit Uluwatu Temple and watch the sunset on the cliff. Beware of the monkeys. They try to steal your glasses and hats. Watch what happened to Khun in the video!
2. For Kecak dance at Uluwatu Temple, book your tickets ahead to get the 6PM show. The sunset occurs between 6-7pm so you can enjoy the dance and sunset together.
3. Padang Padang beach’s sunset is an amazing experience.
4. Visit Dreamland beach early in the day to enjoy the crystal clear water and tranquil beach experience.
Where do we recommend to stay in Uluwatu, Bali?
Naturela Homestay and Resorts - They have different types of Bungalow and rooms ranging from A$20 to A$50 per night. The place is a 15-min walk from Padang Padang beach and located strategically near coastal Uluwatu.
Which restaurant is the best in Uluwatu, Bali?
This is an easy answer - Warung Local. Warung Local has many choices and prices are affordable. It can be crowded during 12-1pm and 6-7pm. Their Nasi Goreng is famous.
Is Uluwatu better than Canggu or Seminyak?
Depends on what you want out of your travel. Uluwatu is less crowded and quieter than Canggu or Seminyak. However, you will find more food and activities options in Canggu or Seminyak.
In conclusion, our opinion is that if you enjoy slow traveling, Uluwatu is probably the best place to visit in Bali alongside Ubud.
