On Jeff’s KZfaq page are videos of his process for making the puppets. He’s got a workshop at his house. Peanut is the only one he didn’t make. There’s a video out there of his first tv appearance on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson from 1990. Worth watching.

Walter has been around since the late 80s. Jeff has, at least from high school (approximately,) made his own puppets with the exception of the "soft" ones like Peanut. Someone else makes him.

You guys need to find the best of Peanut with Jeff Dunham! Peanut is one of Jeff's earliest "friends" and like all the rest was handmade by Dunham himself! Cheers

I heard Matt Rife talk about why all his clips on YT and Instagram were just crowd work, same with Shultz. It’s because they’re working on a new hour but haven’t finished it yet so all they post is the crowd work that way when the special comes out everyone doesn’t know all the jokes.

When you watch Dave Chappelle and Bill Burr, Jeff Dunham isn't funny by comparison. But he's still iconic and talented

He uses 3d printers to make his puppets. Not sure if someone else made them before 3d printers or not

You don't see Jeff Dunham that much in the same way you don't see Carrot top. They've been busy the last 30+ years making an absolute FORTUNE working in Vegas 6 nights a week. Even in 2023, he's probably in the top 3 paid comics annually. Vegas is the proper venue for prop comedy.

Jeff is the #1 paid comedian in the US and in India. He is one of the top ones in all of Europe. He achieved the Guinness Book of World Records record for "Most tickets sold for a stand-up comedy tour" for his Spark of Insanity tour, performing in 386 venues worldwide.

@@browncoat13 Goes to show how subjective comedy is. I'd never pay a dollar to see either of them, just not my style. The last few comics I paid to see was Jim Gaffigan, Chris Distephano, Andrew Schulz, and Bill Burr.

@@browncoat13 You're missing out. It's meant to be a live experience. Honestly, I'll never see a comic again at a big theatre because anything more than 500 people isn't the intimate experience it's meant to be. But once a comic gets big, of course they wanna sell more tickets and make more money, I don't blame them. But it really does make the experience worse.
