If it’s perfect for you then it’s perfect. The craftsmanship of nuthouse products is insane. I’d prefer to be able to go inside a hard shelter if I’m going to pull a trailer, but I can totally see why that works so well for you

That is a wise statement, for sure. Thanks for sharing!

Nice trailer. I have owned a patriot camper for 5 years now and I can appreciate all types of set ups. Few things I would change on this trailer that I think Patriot got right in my opinion and why I think they are superior. Battery and water tank placement are in the center of the trailer between the tires. Does wonders for balance. Airbags. Leveling a patriot especially when arriving to camp at night is takes seconds. Webasto diesel heating system for water and heat to the tent. You can program multiple timers for when it turns on and off not to mention it is super efficient on fuel. The kitchen layout if very functional especially with the BBQ swing away. Their wiring is very clean and professional. Just a few things I noticed. There are others but ultimately trailers like these are more than anyone needs to enjoy the outdoors. Kudos to you for doing this walk around. They are very helpful to those looking for a trailer. Safe travels.

Glad it helped! The lead time is fairly long, but you get exactly what you want, not what someone else thinks would work. Everyone’s needs and preferences are a little bit different and this is where Nuthouse Industries really measures up to the challenge.

Nuthouse Industries is a top shelf company. The only thing I'd change is the water access points.....locking doors would be nice. Personally I'd like an Enclosed HD Acorn trailer someday.

Thanks! They do seem to go the extra mile with all the details that are so often just "stamped out" with the typical processes found in many products in the manufacturing world.

I just priced one and I would have them do my electrical....$46K. Kinda steep for a RTT trailer imho. But thats me. If it suits you then thats all that counts. It is a sweet trailer for sure
@MattMolnar10
@MattMolnar10 Жыл бұрын
Hi Joel! Yes, they had a significant price increase since I placed my order in 2021. RVs and just about everything else has gone crazy. When I placed my order I had quite a bit of time to find the best deals/sales on a RRtent, awning, battery, fridge, etc. That helped a lot.

Nuthouse has always been known for their stupid prices. They cater to the “rich” overlander’s. Using the excuse that the market has got more expensive for a $46k 5x8 trailer with a couple of tool box’s is just plain stupid. But if you are rich and don’t care what anything costs then it doesn’t matter.

If they can afford it good for them and good bless the people can can afford this type of stuff because we don't know the sacrifices they have done to be in the position that they are. If all the people that watch this type of videos would rather get inspired and say I too, if I put my mind to the grind stone and figure out a way to better my self espirutaly and economically, i too can purchase what ever my heart and my wallet desires. Good for this guy and if he cans keep living the life and I can say that I am inspired to do better in life so I can buy what ever I want. God Bless 🙌 🙏
@PrestonGladd

@@383strokerv8 I can afford this, that’s not the point, it’s not worth what they are asking is my point. I have a wrangler 392 that cost $100k, I have a wagoneer that costs $94k, and a Ram 3500 that cost $90k. All of which are paid off and I still think their prices are dumb. They prey on rich people who are clueless when it comes to these trailers, but they (the rich folk) have so much money that they don’t care and don’t look further than the marketing materiel these guys put out.

It's a fast-fold oven by Winnerwell. We paid around $75 for it but it looks like they changed the design a bit and raised the price. I think there are cheaper options out there. We love it!

Since I got mine the prices went up a bit. I would get on the phone with Nuthouse and have a talk with them about exactly what you're looking for and they will give you a quote. Mine came in close to 30K before adding my own tent, fridge, awning and battery system. It's a lot of money, for sure, but the build quality and materials used must be taken into account. If you compare to Patriot, Turtleback and other similar offerings, you'll find the Peanut is not at all out of line. After our recent 32 day trip logging over 7K miles, we couldn't be happier with its performance.

Sorry about that! Did you mean the sleeping space? If so, it's a BundaTop tent which has several reviews online you may want to check out. If you meant the storage space, there is a section around the 9 minute mark that shows the cargo area. Hope that helps! By the way, I do intend on doing a rooftop tent review once the warm weather hits.
