I bought the Catalyst a few months ago after sifting through the market. The ability to recall and analyze your sessions with video in seconds is the killer feature. The real-time coaching is also slick.

Nice video! Im using the Vbox from more than 10 years and is great and still being great despite the years. And yes I also think that the new evolution has been delayed for a long time. But now having the time control without the need to close the circuit 😍😍 is awesome. And remember that with the old vbox you can measure the horsepower of the car ! Was unique. Racelogic 🙌🙌🙌

You're pleasantly calming to watch and a lot of real world info , I'll have to keep an eye out for you at the north east tracks. Now I need a vbox ! I'll be the guy with the tacoma .

Holy hell this is a long one It was awesome helping out, taking a ride in the go kart too. Can’t believe I got the opportunity. Thanks again. Now, let’s see how it turned out I gotta say, after seeing this VBOX in person, I loved the way it looks. The screen and the features I saw while you scrolled through them was super cool. It’s pretty neat how far the VBOX has come. Yea that case is ugly not gonna lie lol Oh man I can already see you don’t enjoy being on camera so much for this one haha Jesus 6 hours of use, that’s nuts Forgetting the SD card SUCKS. USB C is a gift to humanity The glossy screen right. It’s nice but it makes things more complicated Ah now I get to see how to use it I remember we had the speed on average speed in a couple of those runs lmao The customization options look pretty awesome. It’s good to be able to personalize your runs 400mph lmao. That’s hilarious That’s so cool, the lights. Very smart option I honestly feel like this VBOX is a little big. Does it obstruct your vision at all? Let me know with a reply Nice color on the BRZ Damn you went out and did an insane amount of testing for this thing Wow, being able to open up the data must be my favorite part of this thing. It looks pretty awesome haha Oh man, didn’t know about the dragy’s bad battery. Sounds strange. Might have to buy one then TLC the battery down the line. The point to point on the VBOX is a pretty cool feature honestly It’s good to see the garage again haha Hi there Mrs. Wang! I liked the review, it’s crazy how we did the drone and VBOX shots over the course of an hour and we only see 5 seconds of it all lmao. People really don’t understand how much work goes into the channel, and you guys are doing a great job with it. You’re almost at 100,000, keep pushing 💪

Yeah might be one of my longest videos yet. Took a while to put together and was hell to shoot because you know I hate talking. I’m glad you had a good time riding in the Lotus. I’m sure it’s fun to see that 30-45 minutes of shooting turns out to be barely 5 seconds in the actual finished video. But that’s how it is with all my stuff. I don’t really get any vision obstruction from it. It is probably the biggest logger by far, but because the screen is pretty easily readable, I can put it further away and just use my peripheral vision to check on the results. Yeah the Dragy is neat but sometimes I can only test one or two cars before the battery craps out on me now even after a full night of charging. You can leave it plugged in while running but that defeats the point of such a small portable unit. Thanks for the comment bro. Remind me the next time I see you to give you one of my plates that I put on the cars during testing.

@@DanWangFilms yeah dude I had a great time. And yeah, the amount of work that goes into these is insane. I can see why you’ll get burnt out from time to time. It’s good to know the PBOX isn’t any sort of an inconvenience, especially when you need to be laser focused on the track. I’ll be back in New York in July and then in august to help my aunt and grandmother move here to texas. I was thinking about coming to ny a day early so I can come visit you again, maybe get behind the wheel if you’d let me so I can see for myself if I want the exige to be the next car in my garage. Let me know on that, I have a buddy teaching me how to heel toe next month too, so I should be prepped fully for manual by then. I’ll see about getting a dragy just for fun, I’ll let you know so you can get that kickback we discussed. Let me know if august works for you though, I’d be happy to help you guys shoot some stuff too. I’ll send exact dates over towards the end of July

Great Review. Shame P-Box doesn't connect to a camera or wifi (to ODB2 or Aim dash). I use Vbox Lite and Aim MXL2 in my race cars - and 100% video really helps to deep dive the lap. Circuit tools is super easy to use - much easier than RS3. Agree that some internal memory would be cheap to include and I have had SD card failure (during a PB run which gutted me in analysis). The anti-glare should not a big issue - if youre drivinh quick you seldom have time to gaze at the screen (I only check my OLED 2x a lap if at all).

I have the VBox Sport (the one in the blue rubbery case) and I've always found it moaned about lack of satellites (this was when stuck onto the windscreen). Does this suffer from the same issues? Until then I've moved to Dragy.

My buddy has the Garmin catalyst and it's probably better than this for road course. I still think this will be what I'll get.

@ortroi Thank you. I would say it's the best "overall" logger. Certain features (vehicle input, camera integration, and phone support) are done better by other loggers like the AIM Solo 2 DL. But as a complete package, I still have to hand it the PBOX Touch.
