The birthplace of the Enduro World Series, Finale Ligure, may not be the first place that springs to mind when thinking of E Bikes. However; this typically gravity focussed destination, featuring an abundance of downhill trails and uplift services, is embracing Electric Mountain Biking in a big way.

E Mountain Bikes allow riders to explore Finale without their tyres ever touching tarmac. Steve is joined by EWS founder Enrico Guala and local MTB guide Nicola Seriati as they negotiate dynamic, technical climbs and loose, rocky descents against a stunning backdrop of sun, sea, and gelato.

Some fantastic places to ride, But unless I fancy driving for two days, or I hire a bike when i'm out there, I can't see me riding them, but definitely want to make the effort and drive to wales on some of your local trails, No mountings down hear in Cornwall. 😢

Great place to ride looks amazing I reckon Steve is a gun all though I did notice a bit Of boost being used that makes the rest of us 50 yr olds feel a bit better it would of killed me Steve to see you doing that in ECO lol Great stuff guys keep those awesome videos coming

Great to see you are covering great places to ride. Shame you are so far away from Australia. We have a place called Derby in Tasmania which has been revived through mountain bikers. The most sensational trails have been built through incredible native bush land. Would take a full week to ride all trails - the place is made for EMTB's - awesome to ride up beautiful single tracks to reach the top and then downhill bliss. If you are ever in Oz.......

I hear that a new emtb shop has opened in Derby too. And they are building up a battery hire scheme ..... so you can take your own bike on plane.

Barry Taylor is that really true about the battery’s? I would think the boat from Melb I can think of it’s name for the life of me I played for Devonport for 5 years and it was the Abel Tasman lol now 50yrs old I’m into the ebikes I’m sure the Spirit (remember now) would let you take them on??????

@@alexmckenzie6240 I would ring ahead if you are trying to hire a battery as I hear it is a relatively new business. But also, if you go by the Spirit of Tassy you may be able to take your own battery.

@@alexmckenzie6240 Yes, hire shop in Derby where Trek EMTB are for hire. I think also the Derby Lodge used to hire out Levo batteries? You can take Batts on the Spirit of Tasmania, done it a few times with my Levo. Batts only restricted on planes.

Looks like a great place to ride , does any one know if there is any companies that do guided tours and rent ebikes and non bikes, I have an ebike but do not fancy driving there from England

@@th_js I'm minutes away from numerous trails yet can't use most of them due to my injuries, but am happy enough with just riding ANYWHERE because it at least gets me out of the house! Sorry to hear the closest trail for you is 70km away...

@@grimreaper3526Yeah, you're lucky and at the same time unlucky. But I still enjoy just jibbing around on the streets, practising techniques and so on..
