I run those two AND bunch. PA sail is just too good. The curl route gets open vs man and the solo post gets over and under the safety and linebacker.

when you're picking favorite formations, KEEP IN MIND which ones allow you to motion and create a numbers advantage on one side (in addition to showing you man v zone, obviously). this is a huge part of my pre-snap game and there are some plays that limit motion for no good reason.

That's the truth I don't like this Madden mainly due to how cheaply made it is the game isn't even realistic it's all off of superstar abilities.

The game in the last year limiting your ability to motion (snap) is an unfortunate issue they’re gonna have to address being that we’re starting to see some of the best OC’s starting to implement it like the dolphins and niners. Couple formations you can do it like Normal Y off but it’s only TE’s

🤔 Very surprised nobody's mentioned the New Orleans Saints playbook. I love it. I think It has a mix of everything. It has corner routes, crossing routes, rpo, etc.

True but when using the actual Saints you just get overly frustrated how the game limits your use of Taysom hill. Even manually editing (which is always lame) Taysom to be a QB doesn’t work and the game will automatically make you fumble on Read Options. Bizarre

Another amazing formation from the jets playbook is gun bunch str offset has an amazing flood play u can run stock from either hash has a good verts and rpo play and of course y trail, dagger and corner strike are also solid it’s a great beginner formation for those new to madden

3-3 odd in the nickel package is the formation ive been running like crazy rn, using 4 main plays: cover 4 drop, cover 6, cover 2 man, pinch 0 and also nickel 2 trap. set your CBs to line up at base before calling a play with your preplay adjustments. ( I also like to put option at conservative and my zone coverage to match, but this can be personal preference.) Both cover 4 drop and Pinch 0 I find very effective at stopping most running attacks, just make adjustments to your line and defensive backs. I run the Raiders playbook which gives me access to this alongside big nickel and dime, which are both formations that I find very effective as well.

None of these. Run heavy pb is absolutely crazy. Mainly under center.. but the few shotgun are really good. Singleback trio is low key top 3 formations Shotgun bunch te - tight end corner is literally unstoppable. Easy reads for man and zone

@@user-fs9ix9mh8p I think the unique formations and the good ones are the ones you can't find in any other Playbook. I don't run this Playbook anymore I actually run the run and shoot which is by far better than the Run heavy, it's definitely the best playbook in Madden

Excited to see what they do for the Lions playbook in Madden ‘25. The best offenses and offensive coordinators always get prioritized in terms of playbooks for the next season. Hoping they get more split Gun backfields to utilize Gibbs and Monty.

I was so hoping the SPREAD playbook would be great but going through the entire playbook to find solid passing schemes is futile. It feels like a playbook that entices you with cool RPOs, Motions and options but overall the passing plays, combos and formations just feel underdeveloped and vanilla. Can be amazing for what it is but will always be limited in scope.

Sadly you can’t replicate the dolphins offense very well. Motion-snap is terrible and limited. You can replicate some of their styles in the SPREAD playbook
