I never expected VGA to get sidetracked watching the Pokémon anime, but I love that they loved it! Can we get a Pokémon anime Awesome Piece Theater? I'm sure you could get a few good suggestions for eps to watch from the turbos.

In the original games Magikarp was meant to be this weak pokemon, but by enduring through the struggle of training this thing to Level 20 it evolved into an ultra powerful pokemon (Gyarados). Fun Fact: Magikarp and it's evolution are based on a Chinese legend of a Dragon's Gate that stands at the top of a waterfall, if carp can swim up the waterfall and pass through the gate it is turned into a dragon. This is why if you go look back at Pokemon Snap's Valley level if you push the Magikarp into the waterfall it turns into Gyarados. Also they reused this concept in Gen III (Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald) with Feebas this ugly fish pokemon evolving into Milotic this beautiful serpent pokemon.
