Yes please, in fact does anybody know some subreddit for av receivers knowledge? It's so difficult to understand how much power these av receivers actually have, cannot determine a lot from the power ratings that they provide. Especially they provide for 2 channel driven whereas I want to know for 5 channel

great video, I tried the Mojo2 and the Gryphon last week and I must admit that I love nearly everything about the Mojo, Sound, Design, Form factor So I decided to buy the Mojo Poly combo, this costs around 350$ more then the Gryphon but I think its worth it

The only regret I have with my THX Onyx is the lack of a 4.4 balanced input. Otherwise, I absolutely love it, I may look into somoe of those you mentioned with the balanced output, Balanced makes a huge difference,

I have a beyer dynamic 990dt pro 250 ohm headphone and wonder what dac to use primary with my laptop and at a lowe price point. It would be a bonus to use with mobile phone but not essential. Great video, thanks for sharing your thoughts! One question on the Mojo, which you praised a lot: the fact that is doesn’t have a balanced output do you think it makes the difference? Some of the cheaper options you have talked about also have a balanced output, so I was wondering how much of a difference it would make. Thank you

Regarding the Mojo's lack of a balanced output, it's important to note that while balanced outputs can offer certain benefits in reducing interference and crosstalk, it doesn't necessarily mean a non-balanced output connection like the Mojo's will produce an inferior sound. The Mojo is known for its outstanding sound quality, and its single-ended output still delivers excellent audio performance. The absence of a balanced output connection doesn't diminish its ability to provide a great listening experience. Overall, the Mojo remains a top-notch DAC/Amp, with its strengths lying in other areas, and many users have been more than satisfied with its single-ended output. Could you please recommend a portable DAC and another desktop DAC that make these sound great with any android phone or PC? I also have a JVC HA-FXZ200 that I use outdoors. Thanks again.

I looked at DAPs and decided if I was gonna buy a dedicated sound device, I would just buy a used LG 50 for a hundred and some bucks. It's worked out well. The DAC in it is more than sufficient.

Nice Detailed Video. Loved it. I have shortlisted Fiio KA3 and Shanling UA2 plus. Unable to choose which one to go for. I mostly use this with phone, One concern which draws less battery from phone. I do not have any plan to use Over the Ear headphones with it, only decent mid tier IEMs. Can you comment on this

Actually I listen to Wav files or Flac files mostly ,but yesterday I was comparing same track in it's wav format(2.1 mb/s bitrate) vs in Soundcloud(128kb/s) b2b.But I was not able tell any difference .There is no problem with the track's authenticity though. I am using Sony Mdr-Xb 55 ap wired in-ear phones(16 ohms Impedence) with the help of Samsung dac(24bit/192khz). Can you pls help me out wat should I do in the first place to get the full potential of the tracks.

Where can I get a cable for the mojo 2 that: has RCA on one end and the mini digital on the other end ? Or, go to 20:48 of the video. The round port on the farthest left of the unit, below the word "coax". I have never seen that connection before. But I want a cable that will go from it to an RCA connector - a digital cable with those 2 different ends. Any help ?

Hey there, we're glad you liked our video. Since the Sennheiser Momentum 4 is a wireless headphone as well, it comes with an inbuilt DAC hence using an external DAC along with it won't make much of a difference. Hope this was helpful!

According to the feedback in the community, most of which who are using a dragonfly are quite happy and are reporting about a noticeable difference. Furthermore, your review regarding iBass DC03 Pro made my decision and I ended up buying one :D So I'm sad to hear that you wouldn't expect any difference. I'll have to wait a bit untill the dongle arrives, finally I shall give you my feedback. Hopefully, I'll have positive experiences to report :)

@@headphone_zone Hi there. I just wanted to provide a short feedback. I’m using my dongle for a couple of days now and I have to say; there is a noticeable sound improvement. It is quite louder, all volume controls must be operated from the dongle itself. It drains the phone battery ever so slightly. I’m using an iPhone 14 Pro and the iBasso works great. At max volume the bass gets distorted so I tweaked the EQ settings and everything felt much better. The difference is there and sound great.

Hi Headphone Zone. i watched your video and u got me to purchase a XB10 without any idea how I'm gonna use it. i bought it online and it will arrive in my country any day now. now lies my problem. i intend to use it on my car Upgraded sound system using my Android phone via Android Auto. the set up now is i plug USB to my car USB port and C to my Android phone on the other end. Hey there, the Sennheiser - HD 660S2 is an open-back headphone and requires a dedicated amplifier such as the FiiO - K7 to provide adequate power so the headphone can perform at its best, we'd also like to mention that open-back headphones are made for indoor use and are not recommended to be used outdoors. Hey Melissa, We think the Chord Mojo 2 is a great option and in no way inferior to the Gryphon, although it is true that the Chord Mojo 2 does not come with a balanced output, if a balanced output is a necessary requirement for you then you can definitely go for the Gryphon. I currently own Dunu Titan S. Can you recommend that which dongle DAC or bluetooth DAC can bring out the maximum performance of these IEM? My picks are Fiio BTR5, Fiio KA3 and Shanling UA3.

Hello. In the states here. Think I came across this looking for DACs. I currently have a FiiO Q1MKii. I was looking at getting a pair of Hifiman Sundaras… any suggestion for a portable DAC/AMP to pair with them? Using an iPhone XR currently but will probably find myself with a 14 or 15 soon?

How can Astell & Kern XB10 help improving Car music? I see a photo on your website showing its placed in a car, but couldn't find it's mention anywhere in the video or text. Or what do you suggest for the car that has CarPlay/Android auto.

You would connect the XB10 to your car using an Aux cable. The output from the xb10, is connected to the Aux input in your car. That way your going to use the DAC, instead of the in-built DAC on your car.

I have the Fiio BTR3K. My audiophile starter pack is complete. They are so awesome paired with the ZS10pro and Arias i use. Even gifted one to my sis. :)

All lies by someone trying to sell as many earphones he can sell. I mean no offence. KZ Zst, KZ zsn, CCA CA4 or KZ ES4 is more than enough. I wasted my money trying to get better audio by spending more. I tried buying KZ AS10, KZ ZS10 pro, pioneer se-ch5t, philips shp9500, CCA C12 and pioneer ms7bt. I even bought DAPs like Activo CT10, Fiio M7 and a phone LG V20(because it had a "32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC"). I tried playing 24 bit FLAC files on all of them. My basic Rs.10,000 Samsung phone sounded the same as all these "DAPs" Activo CT10 had even a peculiar problem of getting very warm when being used. Honestly no difference in the more expensive ones. Just waste of money. Its like an addiction for people who have some spare money to play with(and Im guilty). If you have read so far, I really hope you wont waste your money on this pointless hobby.

@@gainjohn To each to his own. I got the zs10 pros first. As the months passed, I got a Fiio BTR3K. Later got balanced 2.5mm cables. And finally for sound tuning towards reference / harman target, I used Crinacle/Auto-EQ presets specific for my IEM on the 10band EQ of the DAC. Used it for over an year until i dropped them in my mug of green tea. Time for a new one. Decided for a tier above .. ie

Hello there, first, I am a huge music lover and I am totally crazy about Trap, EDM's and Hip-Hop. Now I am confused that what should I purchase a TWS under 5k or a wired earphone with a cheap DAC, which one do you think would give me that thump, bass and extra fun. I also do not have a deep pocket to spend on, and I also know that a wired earphone with a DAC might exceed more than 5k budget but still I can give it a try but if and only if it can give me a better sound quality than any TWS under 5k in the market. Request you to recommend. Thank you.

phones play the same like cheap dacs. Don't buy dac. But iem only, hola truthears etc. If tws buds 2 pro - believe its worth the money and will be better than iem and dac for same money

How does fiio KA11 compare with ifi go link? Also, ka11 seems to be using same chip as ibasso dc03 pro and moondrop dawn pro. I like the form factor of ka11, but if I’ll get better output with dawn pro or ibasso 03pro, I would rather go with one of those. What are your thoughts? Maybe we need a new video on new dacs that came out recently 😊

In your upcoming video on latest DACs, could you also please test the DACs with iPhones as well. Some DACs don’t seem to be working with iPhones and that’s causing difficulties in choosing a DAC.
