@@DcSoundOp Hi 👋 I do have a UPS at home but never on the road, I mostly tour around Quebec and we have some of the best power central ever made, voltage drops or simply outage are non existent here. Also, most festivals run on generators when the grid is not available and those are also really solid power source I’m really flattered that you watch my videos, we should do a colab one day. Hey, thanks for the question. A unit like this won't really do anything to correct for bad power in that sense. Before buying any power conditioners or studio-specific solutions, I would try to find a local electrician to help you figure out the cause and see if anything can be done to improve the power. Sometimes it can be a simple fix.

I haven't looked at the 6B PRO personally, but if you don't have some type of over voltage protection up-stream of these in your system, I would think that would be a good idea to add for sure. Going into commercial buildings, gov buildings and hotel ballrooms, you can easily get really spicy voltages to work with. A strip with over or under voltage warnings or protection can certainly help anyone who's not in the practice of metering the power before plugging in on gigs.

Yeah, if you buy electronics from other countries, it's pretty important to make sure they are compatible first. That's a bummer but maybe you can sell it on eBay to someone in a different country?

​@@DcSoundOp My hp setup is topping e50 -> GL mk2 -> anandas. Soundstage shrinks, all frequencies sound noticeably muted. This happens whether I plug in my dac or amp. Compression is the best way to describe it. Robs the music of all dynamics.

Okay, I really don't like to get into audiophile debates, nor do I like to tell anyone that what they are hearing is not correct. With that said, it is very hard to understand how you could be experiencing not only dynamics changes, but also what sounds like a change in frequency response AND the stereo width shrinking... all from a power strip. The equipment you listed is all operating at low DC voltage. That DC voltage is being provided by external power supplies (5v for the DAC and it looks like two rails, + and - 16VDC for the amplifier.) If a MOV inside a power strip is causing adverse performance of either of these under normal operation, there is something significantly wrong with either the gear or your incoming power feed from the wall. Otherwise, there is nothing that should be causing the MOV to act in normal use. Like I said, I'm not saying what you are hearing isn't happening, just that this power strip wouldn't be the reason under normal circumstances.
